El viernes tenía mucho antojo de comer pescado, pero muchas ganas, vivo en una ciudad de la costa llamada Puerto La Cruz y para adquirir pescado fresco no tengo que viajar mucho. Aunque con el racionamiento de la gasolina más la cuarentena, por los cuales estamos atravesando, no me es posible movilizarme tanto como me gustaría. Hay que pensar con sumo cuidado los viajes que se pueden hacer y estos terminan siendo, en su mayoría, para ir a adquirir alimentos.

Gracias a Dios tenía gasolina y el dinero suficiente para darme este gusto marino, así que salí rumbo a un mercado de pescadores que queda como a unos veinte minutos en auto desde mi casa, cuando llegué al sitio noté que no había mucho variedad de pescado disponible, pero el que estaba a la venta se veía realmente fresco.

El kilo costó 3 dólares, me parece bastante irracional que en Venezuela no paguen sueldos en dólares pero que todo, absolutamente todo te lo cobren en dólares. Yo les pedía el precio en "español", fui una cliente un poco irreverente (xD).

Ya en casa me dediqué a preparar arepas y una ensalada de repollo, tomate y perejil para acompañar el delicioso pescado al cual le colocamos ajo, aji dulce y cebollín y lo pusimos con poco aceite en un sartén a fuego bajo.

Y así quedó mi manjar de ese día, estaba realmente exquisito, las cosas sencillas de la vida son las que más traen felicidad, y sí que fuí feliz degustando este delicioso pescado. ¡Mmmm...creo que ya me dio hambre!
