Shipping crisis

Lol I would not be surprised if global shipping STOPS for a while. Which would throw the global economy back to the stone age literally as countries like the US makes less than 10% of what they consume.
We do/did produce enough food to feed ourselves but the parts for the machinery to plow, water and transport foods are made in China. Which is shut down. Blackouts mean they cannot produce enough goods for their national consumers and international ones. Wonder who will get their goods 1st?
Even to reccive the goods the ports cant process them. The only option is either to lift covid restrictions and increase employments at ports or shut the world down to allow manufacturing and shipping to catch up. At this moment demand is too high for current manufacturing levels.
