Saludos comunidad de hive, contenta de sumarme nuevamente a la iniciativa organizada por @elemarg25, que esta vez consiste en el Concurso baile de tambor; el reto es promocionar un baile tradicional de tu país, y como en Venezuela, al igual que en el resto de los países del caribe, bailar tambor es una tradición, los invito a bailar, a participar y a gozar.
Greetings hive community, happy to join again the initiative organized by @elemarg25, which this time consists of the Drum Dance Contest; the challenge is to promote a traditional dance of your country, and as in Venezuela, as in the rest of the Caribbean countries, dancing drum is a tradition, I invite you to dance, to participate and to enjoy.
EL BAILE DE SAN JUAN
El baile de San Juan como muchos otros en Venezuela, es para celebrar, para rendirle veneración a San Juan Bautista, y se hace a través de su imagen, a la que se le canta y se le baila tambor, sin reparo, con ánimo, es una fiesta que se ha mantenido como un ritual para los venezolanos, especialmente para el estado Miranda donde los devotos se reúnen desde la medianoche del 23 de junio hasta el día 25.
La presentación que hoy comparto con ustedes fue realizada en Palma de Mallorca, en la Playa Ciudad Jardín; resulta que al grupo un día nos dio por ir a bailarle a los mallorquinos, así, sin invitación, con el único deseo de promover las tradiciones dancísticas venezolanas; fuimos a disfrutar, a darle parte de lo que somos como nación caribeña, y a su vez, a reencontrarnos con nuestras raíces venezolanas; con nuestra mezcla africana de donde llegaron todos estos ritmos que con el tiempo asumiríamos como parte de nuestra cultura. Resumimos esta presentación como una fiesta de Venezuela para el mundo, y como nosotros la disfrutamos, esperamos que sea del agrado de ustedes y que esta iniciativa se mantenga para el disfrute de todos en esta plataforma.
THE DANCE OF SAN JUAN
The dance of San Juan like many others in Venezuela, is to celebrate, to pay veneration to San Juan Bautista, and it is done through his image, to which the drum is sung and danced, without hesitation, with courage, it is a party that has become a ritual for Venezuelans, especially for the state of Miranda where the devotees gather from midnight from June 23 to June 25.
The presentation that I share with you today took place in Palma de Mallorca, in Ciudad Jardin Beach; it turns out that the group one day we decided to go dancing to the Mallorcans, without invitation, with the only desire to promote Venezuelan dance traditions; we went to enjoy, to give part of what we are as a Caribbean nation, and in turn, to reconnect with our Venezuelan roots; with our African mix from where all these rhythms came from, that in time we would assume as part of our culture. We summarize this presentation as a celebration of Venezuela for the world, and just as we enjoy it, we hope you like it and that this initiative is maintained for the enjoyment of all on this platform.
