Lo inesperado
Final...
Una serpenteante entidad; espíritu del río apareció frente a la mujer. Su piel azulada y brillante deslumbraba la vista y su cuerpo era como el de un dragón serpiente, sus ojos eran dos esferas doradas: la mujer podía verse reflejada en esas esferas brillantes.
Ella en shock por lo que había visto, no podía articular palabra ni retomar el control del cuerpo para salir corriendo en ese momento. La entidad pronuncia algunas palabras.
—No te asustes, mujer, yo soy Okuba: dios protector de este río que por eones ha estado en este lugar.
La mujer seguía en estado de estupefacción, pero algo la devuelve a la realidad. Ella preguntó algo dubitativa y con cierta duda de estar viendo algo real. —¿Aca..., so tú..., tú..., me salvas..., te?
—Claro que sí, era mi deber: yo protejo al río y también a quienes entran en él —respondía Okuba con serenidad, y una gran compasión por la mujer.
Ella aún sin poder creer en lo que estaba viendo, se levantó de improviso; corrió hasta el río tirándose al agua clara, pensó que tal vez así despertaría de su extraño sueño, y volvería a su realidad. Abrió los ojos y se veía en el fondo del río, pero extrañamente podía respirar.
A su lado aparecía Okuba quien la llevaba por maravillosos paisajes submarinos. La mujer estaba maravillada después de haber aceptado aquella realidad; imposible de creer, pero que se sentía tan vivida.
—Quisiera vivir aquí para siempre. No soy feliz en el exterior, a veces quisiera dejar de existir; mi vida se ha convertido en un chiste trágico —decía la mujer mientras su cuerpo volaba entre partículas de H²O.
—Durante miles de años he llegado a conocer a tu especie; ustedes son extremadamente sorprendentes, su intelecto los ha llevado a crear grandes cosas. Un ser tan extraordinario como tú, no debería tener esos pensamientos. —Okuba serpenteaba alrededor de la mujer, y ella sonreía a pesar que hace mucho no lo hacía. Entidad y ser humano danzaban entre el líquido cristalino; la mujer sintió que tenía una nueva oportunidad para disfrutar su estancia en este mundo. —Es bello verte sonreír, no lo dejes de hacer nunca, sin importar lo que pase. La vida es una sola, maravillosamente complicada y un soplo de libertad para hacer lo que gustes.
La mujer miraba aquellas esferas brillantes que eran los ojos de la entidad, luego preguntaba.
—¿Por qué me salvaste, Okuba?
—Para hacerte ver que a pesar de todo lo malo, las cosas bellas son suficientes para quedarse en el mundo. Solo trata de disfrutar de aquellos momentos, y de los que amas; de las situaciones difíciles aprende y asimílalas para ser mejor. La alegría de vivir entre el caos debe ser tu fortaleza, tal cual lo estás haciendo en este momento.
La mujer sintió eso como una epifanía y lo comprendió todo, su experiencia al borde de la muerte fue una lección valiosa que debía asimilar para evolucionar. Miró a Okuba y le agradeció por todo lo que había hecho; la entidad la llevaba hacia una luz en el fondo del río. A toda velocidad la mujer y Okuba se precipitaban hacia el fondo y luego....
La mujer abría los ojos y se encontraba en la orilla del río. Un hombre se acercaba y le preguntó.
—¿Te encuentras bien?
La mujer miraba aquellos ojos y le parecieron tan familiares que sonrió, el hombre responde de la misma forma. —Ahora estoy bien, gracias.
—Mi nombre Oscar, ven te invito un café para el frío —le dijo mientras le tendía la mano para que se levantará.
Ella aceptaba el ofrecimiento y se iba perdiendo en el horizonte con aquel hombre. Después de un instante del río fluia Okuba, y con una gran risa se decía a sí mismo.
—Lo hiciste de nuevo, Okuba. Jajaja.
The unexpected
Final...
A serpentine entity; river spirit appeared in front of the woman. Its bright blue skin dazzled the eye and its body was like that of a serpent dragon, its eyes were two golden spheres: the woman could see herself reflected in those glowing spheres.
She was shocked by what she had seen, she could not articulate words or regain control of her body to run away at that moment. The entity pronounced some words.
“Don't be afraid, woman, I am Okuba: god protector of this river that for eons has been in this place”.
The woman was still in a state of stupefaction, but something brought her back to reality. She asked somewhat hesitantly and with some doubt that she was seeing something real. "Did..., yo..., uuu..., save me, you...?"
“Of course I did, it was my duty: I protect the river and also those who enter it", Okuba answered with serenity and great compassion for the woman.
She, still unable to believe what she was seeing, got up suddenly; she ran to the river and jumped into the clear water, thinking that maybe she would wake up from her strange dream and return to her reality. She opened her eyes and saw herself at the bottom of the river, but strangely she could breathe.
At her side appeared Okuba who took her through marvelous underwater landscapes. The woman was amazed after having accepted that reality; impossible to believe, but it felt so vivid.
"I would like to live here forever. I am not happy on the outside, sometimes I would like to cease to exist; my life has become a tragic joke", said the woman as her body flew through H²O particles.
"Over thousands of years I have come to know your species; you are extremely amazing, your intellect has led you to create great things. A being as extraordinary as you should not have such thoughts". Okuba meandered around the woman, and she smiled even though she had not done so for a long time. Entity and human danced in the crystalline liquid; the woman felt she had a new opportunity to enjoy her stay in this world. "It is beautiful to see you smile, never stop smiling, no matter what happens. Life is one, wonderfully complicated and a breath of freedom to do whatever you like".
The woman looked at those glowing spheres that were the eyes of the entity, then asked.
"Why did you save me, Okuba?"
"To make you see that in spite of everything bad, beautiful things are enough to stay in the world. Just try to enjoy those moments, and those you love; from difficult situations learn and assimilate them to be better. The joy of living amidst chaos should be your strength, just as you are doing right now".
The woman felt that as an epiphany and understood everything, her experience on the brink of death was a valuable lesson that she had to assimilate to evolve. She looked at Okuba and thanked him for everything she had done; the entity took her towards a light at the bottom of the river. At full speed the woman and Okuba were rushing towards the bottom and then....
The woman opened her eyes and found herself on the river bank. A man approached her and asked her.
"Are you all right?"
The woman looked at those eyes and they seemed so familiar to her that she smiled, the man answered in the same way. "I'm fine now, thank you".
"My name is Oscar, come on, I'll buy you a coffee for the cold", he said as he held out his hand for her to get up.
She accepted the offer and was getting lost in the horizon with that man. After a moment Okuba was flowing out of the river, and with a big laugh he said to himself.
"You did it again, Okuba. Hahaha".
