Greetings, I like photography and this is my first participation in a photo contest and it will be here in the @celf.magazine community with a black and white theme.

Regarding the photographs, I took them last Saturday morning, a rainy, cloudy day, where I had to go out to run errands and pass through the Plaza Bolívar in downtown Caracas, which fortunately was quite clear that day, sporting the statue of the hero of the Simón Bolívar Independence; that for me since I was little I have liked it because of how imposing it is.

Although I always pass through the square I have never taken a picture of this monument, so I took out my Alcatel 1S and positioned myself to take the best photos, one from a medium distance and one a little further away... Use the settings camera auto. The shot was backlit, since the sun was just behind Bolívar's silhouette, thus giving a flat gray background, which also generates an effect of greater clarity on the edges of the silhouette, this seems interesting to me, this is more noticeable In the first photo, in the second photo it seems to me that the wet tiles give it a special touch....

I basically did the editing in the Snapseed app, to crop, adjust light, shadow, improve the definition a little...

I'm a novice, but I hope you liked the result, as much as I did... Thanks for the support.
