Hello friends Hivers today after a week and two days after my birthday I come to show you the photos I took to celebrate it since this year I said I wanted to do something simple and different to commemorate it so in this publication I will show you the photos and tell you a little about the background and the process of making these photos.
Lo primero de lo que hablaré es del concepto fotográfico de la sesión ya que como la mayoría de mis sesiones es tipo artístico así que siempre hay un trasfondo de la misma y todo tiene una historia o un tema, para este el escogido fue Alicia en el país de las maravillas pero enfocado en el conejo blanco.
The first thing I will talk about is the photographic concept of the session, as most of my sessions are artistic so there is always a background to it and everything has a story or a theme, for this one the chosen one was Alicia in Wonderland but focused on the white rabbit.
La razón principal por la cual escogí este tema para mi cumpleaños de este año es que me gusta mucho este clásico literario, crecí con él con las películas, todo lo referente a este libro me encanto Lewis Carroll el autor de este clásico supo cómo enamorarme de la historia.
The main reason why I chose this theme for my birthday this year is that I really like this literary classic, I grew up with it with the movies, everything about this book enchanted me Lewis Carroll the author of this classic knew how to make me fall in love with the story.
Ya con el tema listo y con el personaje en el cual me enfocaría seleccionado me dedique a buscar como armar el concepto que en este caso es una fiesta de té con el conejo blanco, ya todos sabemos que la icónica fiesta de té es con el sombrerero loco, la liebre y el lirón pero en este caso ya que también quise hacer unas fotos para halloween entonces el tema tuvo un giro oscuro.
With the theme ready and the character I would focus on selected, I started looking for a way to put together the concept which in this case is a tea party with the white rabbit, we all know that the iconic tea party is with the mad hatter, the hare and the dormouse but in this case since I also wanted to make some photos for halloween then the theme had a dark twist.
También realice una máscara de conejo la cual me tomo una semana armar y pintar (debo decir que no me quedaron ganas de hacer otra), también compre grama artificial para usar de fondo de la fotografía.
I also made a rabbit mask which took me a week to assemble and paint (I must say that I didn't feel like making another one), I also bought some artificial grass to use as a background for the picture.
Armar el set fue bastante sencillo una vez que ya tenía todo el concepto y la historia armada puse el backdrop para colgar la grama artificial de fondo y use la mesa de mi casa como utilería ya que la historia como mencione anteriormente es la fiesta de té de Alicia en el país de las maravillas, debo decir que también me influenció mucho la película de Tim Burton y en la serie de Mattel ever after High donde aparecen los hijos de los personajes de cuentos de hadas.
Putting the set together was quite simple, once I had the whole concept and the story I put the backdrop to hang the artificial grass in the background and used the table in my house as props since the story as I mentioned before is the tea party of Alice in Wonderland, I must say that I was also very influenced by the Tim Burton movie and the Mattel ever after High series where the children of the fairy tale characters appear.
Para la iluminación utilice tres luces una luz superior para acentuar las sombras una luz inferior de color rojo en un tono suave para dar ese toque tétrico y una luz lateral para el efecto de brillo en el rostro para obtener con resultado estas fotos.
For the lighting I used three lights, an upper light to accentuate the shadows, a lower light of red in a soft tone to give that gloomy touch and a side light for the glow effect on the face to obtain these photos as a result.
Para la edición utilice a mis mejores amigos Adobe lightroom y Adobe Photoshop, con el photoshop hice correcciones en el fondo ya que la grama artificial era muy corta además de algunas correcciones de color y niveles, en el lightroom hice edición de recorte y enderece algunas de las tomas.
For the editing I used my best friends Adobe lightroom and Adobe Photoshop, with photoshop I made corrections in the background because the artificial grass was too short and some color and level corrections, in lightroom I did some cropping and straightened some of the shots.
De verdad estoy muy feliz con el resultado de estas fotos y espero que les gusten, un feliz Halloween para ustede, nos vemos en otra publicación.
