🇻🇪 Con estas fotografías participo en el concurso de la comunidad @CelfMagazine, en esta oportunidad con el tema "Basura".
Desde que quise participar en este concurso de celfmagazine, mi mirada estaba centrada en la basura. Lamentablemente vivo en una ciudad que no posee un sistema de aseo público que funcione bien, así que encontrar basura fue bastante fácil.
A pesar de eso, era inevitable plantearme la basura desde otro lugar, no dejaba de darme vueltas en la cabeza que para cada quien eso significaría cosas distintas, que por un lado lo que alguien desecha, por el otro lado alguien lo desea. Lo que es basura para algunos, para otros es un tesoro.
En tema es extraordinariamente complejo e interesante, podría empezar observando a los países del primer mundo, altamente desarrollados y organizados donde son súper eficientes en el tema de reciclaje, sus desperdicios son mínimos y para ellos la basura consiste en un sofá en perfectas condiciones que fue reemplazado por uno más moderno. Sin lugar a dudas ese sofá sería algo muy valioso para alguien más.
Ahora pongámonos en el otro extremo, y veamos los países que viven en pobreza extrema, que se han convertido en los últimos años en los vertederos de basura del mundo. Los habitantes de esos países literalmente navegan en ríos de basura y una gran cantidad de ellos viven de hurgar en ella y re oler tar lo que se pueda vender. Termina siendo un reciclaje explotador e inhumano.
Para este concurso he tratado de pararme en el medio, y ver con sencillez como en mi ciudad la basura de unos es reusada por otros. Me gustó mucho ver como en muchas playas de pescadores, utilizan los cauchos o llantas que ya no funcionan para los vehículo, en la cotidianidad. Hablando con algunos de los pescadores, me contó que para ellos es muy útil porque es un material que flota, algunas veces usan llantas pequeñas de bicicletas o motos como boyas y las más grandes para delimitar espacio en tierra firme o sostener sus embarcaciones sobre la arena.
Algunos de ellos hacen letreros en la playa para cuidar inculcar el cuidado del espacio donde ellos viven y trabajan. O algunas veces simplemente en un acto de civismo advierten la falta de la tapa de una alcantarilla en la vía de acceso a la playa poniendo una en el lugar para advertir a los conductores.
Los cauchos, llantas o neumáticos ocupan un gran espacio en los basureros a pesar de ser reutilizados en muchas partes del mundo para crear combustible, hacer suelas de zapatos, como elementos antivibratorios, cercas o elementos de jardinería, elementos para ejercitarse en zonas de deporte como en el crossfit o zonas de juegos para niños ¿Quién no se ha mecido en un columpio hecho de una vieja llanta?

Since I wanted to participate in this celfmagazine contest, my gaze was focused on garbage. Unfortunately I live in a city that doesn't have a well-functioning public toilet system, so finding trash was pretty easy.
Despite that, it was inevitable to consider the garbage from another place, I kept thinking that for each one that would mean different things, that on the one hand what someone discards, on the other hand someone wants it. What is garbage for some, for others it is a treasure.
On the subject it is extraordinarily complex and interesting, I could start by looking at the highly developed and organized first world countries where they are super efficient in the matter of recycling, their waste is minimal and for them the garbage consists of a sofa in perfect condition that was replaced by a more modern one. Without a doubt that sofa would be something very valuable for someone else.
Now let's get to the other extreme, and look at the countries living in extreme poverty, which in recent years have become the garbage dumps of the world. The people of these countries literally navigate rivers of garbage, and a large number of them live by scavenging and re-smelling what can be sold. It ends up being an exploitative and inhuman recycling.
For this contest I have tried to stop in the middle, and see with simplicity how in my city the garbage of some is reused by others. I really liked seeing how many fishermen's beaches use tires or tires that no longer work for vehicles, in everyday life. Speaking with some of the fishermen, he told me that for them it is very useful because it is a material that floats, sometimes they use small bicycle or motorcycle tires as buoys and the larger ones to delimit space on land or hold their boats on the sand. . Some of them make signs on the beach to instill care for the space where they live and work. Or sometimes simply in an act of civility they notice the lack of a manhole cover on the access road to the beach by putting one in place to warn drivers.
