Hello to all community members. This is my first time writing to this community, and to be honest, I don't really want people to need to write about war at all.
I am from Ukraine 🇺🇦, from Kyiv. My country was in a full-scale war on February 24. It was on this day at 5 am that explosions were heard in many cities throughout Ukraine. And for 5 days now the whole of Ukraine has been fighting for its territory with the invasion of Russian troops.
I can't say that the Ukrainians have survived these 5 days. Dwelling houses are being bombed, people and children are dying. This is the world's grief! How can you want a war at all? I will never understand this!
Our cities Kharkiv, Kyiv, Mariupol, Sumy, small villages were bombed by heavy air artillery: Iskanders, hurricanes, hail, ballistic missiles! How can this be in the civilized world?
Putin, the president of Russia, whom the whole world hates, said that Ukraine does not exist as a state! This is a man who wants to erase our history, culture, existence from the face of the earth! Can you imagine, Russia has already created manuals for schoolchildren on how to teach children about Ukraine, that this state does not exist, and so on. It's hard to believe, my brain refuses to accept such information!
I, like millions of Ukrainian families, grieve for my country, for the people, for my children. We are terrified of every sound in the window, we run to the bomb shelter with air alarms and sit in a cold basement even at night, people sit in shelters and do not get out for many days in a row due to shelling. This is the 21st century!
Rockets are launched on Ukrainian cities even from the territory of Belarus! This country will also be an enemy forever forever, because it is not normal!
We have no previous life, it was destroyed by Putin's bloody war. There are no schools, kindergartens, jobs, people have only war! Can you imagine that?
I am very excited and exhausted. Our previous peaceful life remained somewhere so far away ... Ukrainians lost normal sleep, peace and health.
I am writing this so that the whole world knows that Ukraine lived a normal life and did not invite anyone here! Nobody invited Russia to save people here or interfere in our territories! This is the bloody, aggressive policy of the sick Putin, whom the whole world is now cursing!
Children are born in bomb shelters, patients can not get the right medicine, people are cut off from civilization. Some people cannot get to their homes, families are separated, animals die on farms and in animal shelters, because they cannot be reached to take care of them, because of the constant shelling! This horror must stop. Good must win.
This war is a tragedy for Russia, can you imagine how many of their soldiers have already died? This number is simply amazing! The families of the Russian military have no idea that their husbands were sent to war! They have lost contact with them and do not know where their sons and husbands are. And they are dying in Ukraine in impressive numbers!
Russia is an invader, I want this country to fall apart and overthrow its schizophrenic leader who rules slaves.
