Hundreds of New Yorkers marched on Monday as a policy requiring teachers in the city to be vaccinated went into effect, triggering an automatic suspension without pay for those who haven't gotten the jab.
"We will not comply!" the New Yorkers chanted at the Department of Education before marching to the Australian Consulate where they protested against Australia's domestic policies as well.
The event was mostly peaceful, but protesters flipped over the tent above a COVID testing site, which NYPD officers put back up.
