Someone put some Biden memes on a billboard near where I live in NC

This isn't really a political post so much as it is a funny one because at this point it doesn't really matter to me what you think of Biden because seriously, if someone thinks that a guy who can't do anything without a teleprompter is actually the person making the decisions at the highest level, I don't know what to tell you. If anything, he has pointed out to us that the President is merely a guy who has to sign some stuff, he doesn't actually have to be able to think or talk.

Anyway, the billboard story went viral and people said that the billboard was hacked but as it turns out the images were paid for and stayed up there for quite some time in Wilmington, North Carolina. It was pretty funny because Wilmington is one of those places where there's probably a 50/50 split in conservative / liberal households.

I've never really been a fan of digital billboards anyway because if there was one place that you really shouldn't be watching TV, it's probably when you are behind the wheel of a car. There were the usual advertisements that you can expect on these sorts of contraptions such as insurance (ironically, since the existence of the billboard increases the opportunity that you will need to use your insurance,) strip clubs, and real-estate agents. But the real hit this week was the images of Biden that they snuck in there.

You can pay to feature whatever you want on one of these billboards provided it isn't obscene and that is exactly what one person did, apparently. It doesn't matter to me if the billboard was hacked or if the memes were put up there by someone paying for it. It only matters to me that it is funny.

As far as the whole Afghanistan thing is concerned. I'm not really addressing that. It was a colossal fuckup that is for sure but in the memetime, let's have some fun at Biden's expense. Lord knows the public would be doing it like crazy if this had happened under Trump's watch.
