If you had the opportunity to draw just one thing, it could be anything in this world, and the drawing would become a reality. Tell us what you will draw and why that particular thing
At this particular point, trust me I wouldn't waste time thinking of what to draw. I'll just grab my pencil, find a drawing book, and quickly sketch the only thing my life craved for at this moment.
I have already pictured stacks of clean hundred-dollar bills. It's the kind that gets people wondering if j did a money ritual. The kind that gives man the respect he deserves. The kind that makes you fear no responsibility, all lined up and waiting for me to spend them.
If I Could Draw Anything, It Would Be Dollar Bills
Why?
See eh, one thing about life is that we just can not run away from the responsibility we have. Even if we try to dodge it, it keeps piling up; waiting for that day, it will drain our wallet. Whether you have it or not.
And these few days my responsibility has been how to settle my house rent which will soon be due. There's absolutely no cash at hand or any in sight. And my landlord happens to be the kind that barely has patience.
So if I could draw anything and it would come to life, I'll simply try to draw the only thing that can get me out of this tight spot.
Who knows I might even be able to possibly build my apartment and secure my life forever. Come to think of it, we all know the exchange rate presently in our country, Nigeria. A thousand notes of a hundred-dollar Benjamin Franklin's can change my life forever.
Seriously, if all it would take me is nothing but a whole lot of Benjamin Franklin's serious faces in a rectangular-shaped note. Thank God I'm good with art so the intricate designs and patterns on it wouldn't be much of a problem for me. I will gladly draw them and 'abracadabra' brings them to life.
Don't blame me, a desperate man does not think at times and can do anything at all. Except he has self-control.
You know sometimes I wonder how a piece of paper with drawings and figures in it can have so much power to solve life's problems. Sometimes, it's so powerful that it can even possess its owner. So little, but a lot of it can buy you a lifetime of stability in a world that is always shaky.
Maybe money doesn't solve all of life's problems; maybe money isn't everything. But it will feel better; I have it, and then I can turn a motivational speaker to others on how money isn't everything.
My people will say only a man putting on an undersized shoe knows where it pains the most. At this point, I'm like a man putting on an undersized shoe, and I can tell you boldly that it hurts so much. And I am willing to do anything legally to get out of this situation.
