Aunque tal organismo es un ser vivo, las flores son producto de una necesidad evolutiva y de supervivencia dentro de las especies del reino vegetal. Y es así como nace Borago dentro de Hive, como una pasión por premiar el trabajo excelso del contenido hispanohablante.
La comunidad hispanohablante de Hive ha crecido de manera exponencial y es tiempo de reconocer a sus pares con un premio prestigioso. No tanto por lo monetario, sino por su significancia. Así como la flor Borago es única, deseamos que el premio Borago tenga un significado único para aquellos que lo reciban.
Un panel de líderes de comunidad y curadores hispanohablantes detrás de la iniciativa, escogerán el mejor trabajo en español de la semana y publicarán una reseña mediante la cual anuncian al galardonado. Los días miércoles será divulgado el creador escogido desde las postulaciones inmediatas propuestas por curadores de la iniciativa, en la semana anterior.
De no haber consenso, el premio podría ser declarado desierto esa semana. Por lo tanto, serán 52 publicaciones al año, siempre que no quede desierta alguna de ellas. El objetivo del premio es incentivar el trabajo riguroso, propio del más alto nivel en idioma español.
Las recompensas de la publicación del anuncio irán a parar a la cuenta del autor premiado y un diseño NFT le será entregado como equivalente de una estatuilla física.
El apoyo intrínseco de los hivers hispanos a un reconocimiento en nuestro idioma, será clave para la obtención de los apoyos necesarios con el fin de dar un incentivo monetario al ganador.
Las postulaciones serán hechas por un panel previamente escogido y las mejores llegarán a una etapa final de clasificación. Tales etapas serán tras bastidores. Las publicaciones a postular versarán sobre cualquier tema del cual exista una comunidad.

Flowers as an organism are living being a product of an evolutionary and survival need within the species of the plant kingdom. And that's how Borago was born in Hive, as a passion for rewarding the excellent work of Spanish language content.
Hive's Spanish-speaking community has grown exponentially and it is time to recognize its peers with a prestigious award. Not so much because of its monetary value as because of its meaning. Just as the Borago flower is unique, we want the Borago award to have a unique meaning for those who receive it.
A panel of Spanish-speaking community leaders and curators behind the initiative will choose the best Spanish-language work of the week and publish a review announcing the winner. On Wednesdays, the creator selected from the immediate nominations submitted by the initiative's curators in the previous week will be announced.
The award may be declared void that week if there is no consensus. Therefore, there will be 52 posts per year, provided that no week remains vacant. The objective of the award is to encourage the rigorous work of the highest level in the Spanish language.
The rewards of the announcement post will go to the winning author's account and an NFT design will be given to him/her as the equivalent of a physical statuette.
The intrinsic support of Hispanic Hivers for recognition in our language will be key to obtaining the necessary support to provide a monetary incentive to the winner.
Nominations will be made by a pre-selected panel and the best will go to a final qualifying stage. Such steps will take place behind the scenes. The publications to be nominated will be on any topic for which there is a community.
