Many times I've felt I was born at the wrong time, feeling anachronistic and out of place. I don't fit in with the values of this system where meritocracy is often non-existent and nepotism is on the rise.

I've fought wars that don't belong to me many times, leaving aside the struggles against my own demons, locking myself in a deep void and my soul had been confined to almost perpetual isolation. I always complained, about the system, about education, about politics and about the war.

When times turn dark the mind becomes fragile and selfishness begins to take over. Survival dismantles empathy, turning us into selfish and irrational machines and it is at that moment where tyrants play their best cards, they attack our minds.

In these times we live so fast that we don't see reality as it is but as a sweep or as sand that vanishes in our hands and we ask ourselves: What have we done? Where are we going? Do I have an idea what to do with my life? But what the fuck are we going to know if we lose our life in that constant sweep, without paying attention to the small details and without taking advantage of what is truly important because we assume it as a fact and even as a right, but life doesn't owe you shit. You owe to life, to breathe, to feel a hug, to smile when you talk with your girlfriend, friends, etc.

I firmly believe that simplicity is happiness, in the natural, the authentic, what has no disguises but many of us do not learn to value that simplicity and we search everywhere looking for situations that complicate our lives. Believing in social media ideals, looking for imperfections in everything around us and blaming everyone for our misery.

Many times our misery is not the fault of these factors, sometimes we lose loved ones or someone separates to never return to us and it is at that moment that we must strengthen our resilience and our spirit in the absence of our loved ones. We must be strong in the face of our grief, live with the memories, and pay tribute to them with our actions in the present.

After all the pain that we can live there will always be a giant door that will open before us, you decide whether to cross it or not. We all have the right to be happy, to fulfill our wildest dreams and of course, they say that dreaming costs nothing but what work and sweat it costs us to fulfill them. And the fact is nothing sublime is born from weak hands, all the effort and dedication that we give to something will always bear fruit but there is an extra key is that we must love what we do, otherwise we will be automatons, zombies that learn lessons.

Personally, my resilience is testing me, the life lessons I am taking are getting harder and harder to assimilate. Sometimes I wonder why me? In that moment we must all ask ourselves another question. And why not? In what way can we learn to be better human beings if we don't have difficulties in life? The detail is how we face these difficulties, if we allow ourselves to be carried away by frustration and anger we will go to a dark path but if we face them stoically and with wisdom we will go to a path of peace.

Nothing can defeat us if we know how to fight our wars with peace. Happiness lies in doing good to others but above all to ourselves. Hatred is only a poison that contaminates our souls, taking away energy that we can take advantage of for our benefit. I love this life full of difficulties and problems because I am sure that soon I will be able to help others through my experience and not just with empty words. My words will always be my experience, my soul dancing between letters.

A veces me pregunto ¿Por qué a mí?

Love every second of your life, value your breath, love your spirit and you will see the good that many have to offer you, but first, you make the change. To be able to appreciate the beauty in others, you must start by looking inside yourself, delving into the most recondite spaces of your soul until you can breathe freely without drowning. Value every second of your life, appreciate every detail that surrounds you and finally, your mind will erase every label, every offense, every border and every wall, thus understanding that it is true happiness, without comparisons, only you, a unique identity in the world.
