Hello, Ecency community! I introduce myself, my name is Maykol, a young 18 year old Cuban who considers himself a computer engineer in development .
Hace unos meses, culminé con éxito mis estudios de bachillerato y actualmente me encuentro cursando un servicio comunitario que se realiza en mi país, en el periodo previo a entrar a la universidad.
A few months ago, I successfully completed my high school studies and I am currently doing a community service that takes place in my country, in the period before entering the university.
Por ende, me he dispuesto a aprovechar este tiempo libre para avanzar hacia mis objetivos profesionales y proyectos personales, entre ellos, este blog.
Conocí Ecency de manera casual, tras una charla en la playa con un amigo, @ernesto-blguer. Él me mencionó que era una buena oportunidad para dar a conocer mi mensaje y generar interés en el proceso. Después de esto, busqué información sobre la plataforma y quedé asombrado con su funcionamiento, lo que me llevó a decidir unirme a su comunidad.
Therefore, I have decided to take advantage of this free time to advance towards my professional goals and personal projects, among them, this blog.
I met Ecency by chance, after a chat on the beach with a friend, @ernesto-blguer. He mentioned to me that it was a good opportunity to get my message out and generate interest in the process. After that, I searched for information about the platform and was amazed with how it worked, which led me to decide to join its community.
Entre algunas de mis pasiones, además de programar e indagar profundamente en el mundo crypto, destaco el ejercicio físico, tanto por el placer de lograr un nuevo récord personal como por ver cómo tú cuerpo se desarrolla haciendote sentir cada vez mejor contigo mismo.
Dentro de este ámbito, también disfruto practicar deportes, sobre todo el voleibol. Me encanta rematar la pelota con todas mis fuerzas y pensar en las velocidades que puede alcanzar, o rescatar esa pelota que mi equipo creía perdida en el último momento. ¡Son sensaciones increibles!
Among some of my passions, besides programming and digging deep into the crypto world, I highlight physical exercise, both for the pleasure of achieving a new personal record and to see how your body develops making you feel better and better about yourself.
Within this area, I also enjoy playing sports, especially volleyball. I love spiking the ball with all my strength and thinking about the speeds it can reach, or rescuing that ball that my team thought was lost at the last moment. They are incredible sensations!
Aparte de esto, no me considero una persona introvertida, pero a veces puedo ser un poco tímido o torpe en encuentros sociales, un aspecto en el cual intento mejorar. Sin embargo, disfruto de convivir con mis amistades, salir a acampar y explorar; estar en contacto con la naturaleza me parece muy emocionante. Ademas de otros Hobies que pretendo postear más adelante.
Apart from this, I don't consider myself an introvert, but sometimes I can be a bit shy or awkward in social encounters, an aspect in which I try to improve. However, I enjoy spending time with my friends, camping and exploring; I find being in contact with nature very exciting. Plus other Hobies that I intend to post about later.
Un logro del que estoy particularmente orgulloso, y que en parte me motivó a empezar este blog, es haber aprobado satisfactoriamente el examen de admisión a la universidad y haber alcanzado la carrera de Ingeniería en Ciencias Informáticas en una reconocida universidad de mi país, la UCI (Universidad de Ciencias Informaticas). El problema con esto es que esta universidad está bastante alejada de mi ciudad por tanto me veré en le necesidad de volverme independiente económicamente para así albergarme dentro de la misma lejos de mi familia.
One accomplishment that I am particularly proud of, and that partly motivated me to start this blog, is to have successfully passed the university entrance exam and to have achieved a degree in Computer Science Engineering at a renowned university in my country, the UCI (Universidad de Ciencias Informaticas). The problem with this is that this university is quite far away from my city so I will need to become economically independent in order to stay there away from my family.
En mi filosofía, creo firmemente que se puede lograr cualquier meta realista que te propongas, siempre y cuando seas perseverante, no te rindas y superes tus límites. Este es el camino para llegar a ser algo grande. No necesitas tener un talento innato; con esfuerzo, puedes lograr lo que quieras. El esfuerzo supera al talento.
In my philosophy, I firmly believe that you can achieve any realistic goal you set for yourself, as long as you persevere, don't give up and push your limits. This is the path to becoming something great. You don't need to be an innate talent; with effort, you can achieve anything you want. Effort trumps talent.
En cuanto al contenido que me gustaría publicar, incluiré investigaciones curiosas relacionadas con el mundo de la ciencia, la tecnología o las cryptomonedas, así como otros temas random que considero interesantes . También compartiré anécdotas de vida y documentaré mi desarrollo en general para la comunidad, con el deseo de que sirva de ayuda a alguien con aspiraciones o situación similares a la mias.
As for the content I would like to publish, I will include curious research related to the world of science, technology or cryptocurrencies, as well as other random topics that I consider interesting. I will also share life anecdotes and document my development in general for the community, with the hope that it will be helpful to someone with similar aspirations or situation to mine.
