Hola a todas las personas de esta hermosa comunidad en la que me acabo de adentrar. Mi nombre es Valter Valik y justo ahora comienzo a interactuar con el magnífico ecosistema de Hive. Alguien a quien admiro mucho por sus avances como emprendedor me recomendó esta red social hace un tiempo, y es de mi agrado decir, que mientras más conozco e interactúo de alguna forma en esta comunidad, mayor es mi satisfacción por formar parte de la misma. Realmente creo que Hive tiene la capacidad de ser el mejor medio de comunicación entre comunidades de todo el mundo.
Hello to all the people of this beautiful community that I have just entered. My name is Valter Valik and right now I'm starting to interact with the magnificent Hive ecosystem. Someone whom I admire a lot for his advances as an entrepreneur recommended this social network to me a while ago, and it is my pleasure to say that the more I know and interact in some way in this community, the greater my satisfaction for being part of it. I really believe that Hive has the ability to be the best means of communication between communities around the world.
Algunas cosas acerca de mí. / A few things about me.
Nací en la Ciudad de la Habana, Cuba, en octubre del año 2000. Con padres amantes del arte y la música, crecí viendo y participando en obras teatrales, escuchando a mi madre cantar y tocar el piano, y a mi padre cantarme todas las noches antes de dormir. Sin embargo, mi interés por la música resultó tardío. De pequeño me interesé por el deporte y comencé a practicar Jiu Jitsu en una escuela cerca de donde vivo, deporte en el que sin duda me desenvolvía excelentemente.
I was born in the City of Havana, Cuba, in October of the year 2000. With parents who love art and music, I grew up watching and participating in theatrical plays, listening to my mother sing and play the piano, and my father sing to me every night before going to sleep. However, my interest in music turned out to be late. As a child I became interested in sports and started practicing Jiu Jitsu at a school near where I live, a sport in which I undoubtedly developed excellently.

El despertar de mi pasión. / The awakening of my passion.
No fue sino, a la edad de 15 años, que mi pasión por la música despertó. Esta pasión por la música electrónica nació con la llegada de dos grandes amigos a mi vida, quienes me mostraron por primera vez el género musical, y recuerdo bien la sensación de euforia y la mezcla de emociones que se desataron al escuchar la primera composición de música electrónica de mi vida (Showtek – We Like To Party). Enseguida se volvió de gran importancia para mí expresar mis sentimientos a través de la misma. Pero, ¿cómo?
It wasn't until, at the age of 15, that my passion for music awakened. This passion for electronic music was born with the arrival of two great friends in my life, who showed me the musical genre for the first time, and I remember well the feeling of euphoria and the mixture of emotions that were unleashed when listening to the first electronic music composition of my life (Showtek – We Like To Party). It immediately became of great importance for me to express my feelings through it. But how?

Pero, ¿cómo? / But, how?
Mi necesidad de componer música era inminente, y fueron mis amigos, mencionados anteriormente, quienes me presentaron a quien sería mi mentor en la producción musical y mi amigo, que justamente producía música electrónica con el DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) FL Studio. Es increíble, como sin conocerme, insistió en que podía ir a su casa cuando quisiera y aprender acerca de la producción de música electrónica junto a él. Y así fue, como día tras día, al terminar las clases, me dirigía a su casa para verlo producir. Esta rutina fue la que le dio nombre a nuestro primer track “After The School”. Luego fui capaz de desarrollar mis primeras composiciones como artista en solitario bajo el nombre de Valter Valik, mi nombre artístico además (historia graciosa que contaré en mi próximo artículo).
My need to compose music was imminent, and it was my friends, mentioned above, who introduced me to who would be my mentor in music production and my friend, who just produced electronic music with the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) FL Studio. It's amazing, as without knowing me, he insisted that I could come to his house whenever I wanted and learn about electronic music production together with him. And so it was, as day after day, at the end of classes, I went to his house to watch him produce. This routine was the one that gave the name to our first track “After The School”. Then I was able to develop my first compositions as a solo artist under the name Valter Valik, my stage name besides (funny story that I will tell in my next article).

No solo la música. / Not just music.
Actualmente estoy estudiando en la Universidad de Ciencias Informáticas de La Habana, donde me desarrollo como ingeniero de software. Universidad a la que le estoy agradecido por la gran cantidad de oportunidades y amistades que he hallado estando en la misma. Me encuentro en el proceso de dominar completamente el lenguaje de programación JavaScript (React, React Native, Node js, etc), debido a que me gustaría ser capaz de crear sitios web y aplicaciones que sean de utilidad en el mundo moderno.
I am currently studying at the University of Computer Sciences of Havana, where I develop as a software engineer. University to which I am grateful for the many opportunities and friendships I have found while at it. I am in the process of completely mastering the JavaScript programming language (React, React Native, Node js, etc.), because I would like to be able to create websites and applications that are useful in the modern world.

Recientemente me adentré en el mundo de las criptomonedas y me inicié en el arte del diseño digital creando mi primer y único NFT por el momento, el cuál puse en venta a través del Marketplace We-NFT. Además, me introduje en la plataforma Kucoin, la cual me ha permitido aumentar mis ingresos mediante el trading de cripto activos.
Recently I entered the world of cryptocurrencies and I started in the art of digital design creating my first and only NFT for the moment, which I put up for sale through the We-NFT Marketplace. In addition, I got introduced to the Kucoin platform, which has allowed me to increase my income by trading crypto assets.

Mi color favorito es el azul celeste, ya que siento un científicamente explicado estado de relajación al observarlo. Amo la música electrónica y la pizza con aceitunas. Soy bastante sociable y me gusta salir con amigos y pasarla en grande donde sea. Me encantan los video juegos y el cine. También leo mucho a Robert Kiyosaki y quisiera que ustedes tuvieran en cuenta leerlo también.
My favorite color is sky blue, as I feel a scientifically explained state of relaxation when observing it. I love electronic music and pizza with olives. I am quite sociable and I like to go out with friends and have a great time wherever. I love video games and cinema. Also I read Robert Kiyosaki a lot and I would like you to consider reading him as well.
