La idea de crear una comunidad que represente nuestro país me pareció genial, un lugar donde hablar de nuestras cosas, divertirnos con nuestro contenido, unirnos como cubanos y dar a conocer en hive de lo que podemos llegar a transmitir. Gracias a @manuphotos y a @onemoresandra por darme a conocer la existencia de un concurso que lanzaba @aliento con el fin de crear una identidad visual para nuestra plataforma.
Primero felicitar a todos los que han participado, tienen trabajos que me han gustado mucho, la mayoría como yo sin dedicarse al diseño de forma profesional, solo por amor.
Hello, how are you friends?
The idea of creating a community that represents our country seemed great to me, a place to talk about our things, have fun with our content, unite as Cubans and make known what we can transmit on hive. Thanks to @manuphotos and @onemoresandra for letting me know about the existence of a contest launched by @aliento to create a visual identity for our platform.
First of all, congratulations to all those who have participated, they have works that I have liked a lot, most of them like me without dedicating themselves to design professionally, just for love.
¿Qué representa mi diseño?
Cuba no es solo blanco, azul y rojo, Cuba contiene una cantidad de colores increíbles, somos alegría, somos caribe, sol, playas, vida. Somos una pequeña isla donde la música corre por nuestras venas, un cubano contagia de alegría al que hable con él, al que lo mire, al que baile a su lado. Somos eso Cuba.
Quise crear un conjunto que al mirar dijéramos, aaah si, si, es Cuba. Vemos primeramente un auto antiguo los cuales ruedan en nuestras calles cada día, luego nuestro malecón ¿Quién no se ha sentado al menos una vez ahí?, el Capitolio con su gran escalinata, nuestra mujer con un buen puro cubano, el Morro con su faro vigilante cada noche, en el caribe no pueden faltar nuestras palmas y por último como el cubano pregunta cómo estas, Asere que Bolá.
El logo creo que se explica solo nuestras cuatro letras acompañado con el nombre de la plataforma y el logotipo en rojo representando el triángulo de nuestra bandera seguido por tres franjas azules.
What does my design represent?
Cuba is not only white, blue and red, Cuba contains a number of incredible colors, we are joy, we are Caribbean, sun, beaches, life. We are a small island where music runs through our veins, a Cuban spreads joy to whoever talks to him, whoever looks at him, whoever dances next to him. We are that Cuba.
I wanted to create a set that when looking we would say, aaah yes, yes, it is Cuba. We first see an old car which rolls through our streets every day, then our boardwalk. Who has not sat there at least once? The Capitol with its grand staircase, our wife with a good Cuban cigar, the Morro with its lighthouse. vigilant every night, in the Caribbean our palms cannot be missing and lastly, as the Cuban asks how you are, Asere que Bolá.
I think the logo is explained only by our four letters accompanied by the name of the platform and the logo in red representing the triangle of our flag followed by three blue stripes.
