Hola mis queridos amigos, siempre me he considerado un alma vieja dentro de un cuerpo joven, lo digo porque siempre me han gustado las cosas vintage, el estilo y la moda de épocas pasadas, el cine mudo y desde luego la música, no solo la escucho sino que me dedico a estudiar el género y el porqué de su origen, y fue de esta forma en que llegué a conocer los cuplés jaja, 🤣 y aquí debo hacer un paréntesis para comentarles lo mucho que mi mamá y mi hermana se ríen de mi cuando me ven escuchando estas joyas de finales del siglo XIX y comienzos del siglo XX.

Ya lo sé, sé que en este momento se deben estar preguntando qué es un cuplé y qué diantres tiene que ver con la "sublevación femenina" con el liberalismo o con el feminismo en general, pues bien, vamos por partes para que puedan entender. El termino "Cuplé" está "hispanizado" por decirlo de alguna manera, con el objetivo de facilitar su pronunciación, pero deriva del francés "couplet", se trata de canciones populares de corte gracioso y pícaro, incluso podía llegar a resultar excesivamente soez hasta tildarlo de "vulgar", según fuese el estilo, ya que existían muchos, siendo el más popular el sicalíptico.
