De nada sirve tener muchos conocimientos si no los compartimos con el prójimo. Me encanta tener la oportunidad de hablar desde mi experiencia sobre este camino que he estado transitando desde hace poco más de dos años y así poder ayudar a otros a dar sus primeros pasos o a descubrir nuevas oportunidades dentro del ecosistema. Aunque todavía me falta muchísimo por aprender ya que día a día se sigue expandiendo todo este universo, valoro mucho la oportunidad de rodearme de personas que se interesen por lo que hago y a su vez puedan aportarme un aprendizaje valioso sobre lo que construyen o sobre sus experiencias en web3.

It is useless to have a lot of knowledge if we do not share it with others. I love having the opportunity to speak from my experience about this path that I have been walking for a little over two years and thus be able to help others to take their first steps or to discover new opportunities within the ecosystem. Although I still have a lot to learn as this universe continues to expand day by day, I value the opportunity to surround myself with people who are interested in what I do and in turn can provide me with valuable learning about what they build or about their experiences in web3.

Ayer tuve la oportunidad de formar parte como speaker de un Xspace sobre como monetizar en web3, hablando un poco sobre mi experiencia monetizando mi contenido en hive. Siento que el tema de la monetización es super amplio, tomando en cuenta que existen demasiadas formas de monetizar en este ecosistema, sin embargo, soy fiel creyente de que la mejor manera de conseguir éxito es sabiendo explotar nuestros talentos o pasiones y logrando combinarlas con lo que queramos construir o impulsar en web3. El Xspace estuvo bastante interesante, fue hosteado por Kábila, un proyecto que se enfoca en la creación de comunidades tokenizadas, les dejo aquí el enlace a su perfil de X por si gustan investigar un poco sobre ellos, sin embargo, siento que el tiempo fue un poco corto para hablar profundamente sobre el tema, así que probablemente pronto volvamos a conversar sobre los métodos de monetización y por supuesto, si les interesa el tema pueden hacérmelo saber en un comentario.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to be part of an Xspace as a speaker on how to monetize on web3, talking a little about my experience monetizing my content on hive. I feel that the topic of monetization is very broad, taking into account that there are too many ways to monetize in this ecosystem, however, I am a true believer that the best way to achieve success is knowing how to exploit our talents or passions and managing to combine them with what we want to build or promote in web3. Lo cierto es que de este Xspace puedo resaltar ciertos comentarios que de seguro les serán útiles si se encuentran dando sus primeros pasos en el ecosistema o buscando formas de crecer laboralmente en el. En primer lugar, como les comenté anteriormente, veo necesario que el enfoque sea sacarle el máximo provecho a tu potencial y creo que la mejor manera de lograr esto es explotando tus pasiones, por ejemplo, si te quieres enfocar en la creación de contenido, lo ideal sería que realmente disfrutes de crear contenido de cualquier tipo, bien sea escrito o audiovisual, pero que el proceso creativo sea para ti un proceso disfrutable, de lo contrario podría resultar agobiante y aunque no lo creamos, esto es algo que tu audiencia puede percibir. El mundo necesita de más personas apasionadas por lo que hacen.

The truth is that from this Xspace I can highlight certain comments that will surely be useful if you are taking your first steps in the ecosystem or looking for ways to grow professionally in it. First of all, as I mentioned before, I think it is necessary to focus on getting the most out of your potential and I think the best way to achieve this is by exploiting your passions, for example, if you want to focus on content creation, ideally you should really enjoy creating content of any kind, whether written or audiovisual, but the creative process should be an enjoyable process for you, otherwise it could be overwhelming and although we do not believe it, this is something that your audience can perceive. The world needs more people passionate about what they do.

En segundo lugar, veo importante mencionar algo que ya he comentado en mis redes sociales anteriormente, muchas veces nos sentamos a esperar que alguna empresa nos contrate, así sin más, cuando hay todo un universo de posibilidades de monetización que te pueden ayudar a percibir ingresos en web3 mientras esperas que la empresa de tus sueños se fije en ti o mientras adquieres nuevas habilidades o mejoras las que ya tienes, esto me lleva al tercer punto del cual quiero hablarles y a mi parecer uno de los más relevantes. La comunidad juega un papel importante tanto en web 3 como en web 2 ya que ambas van de la mano, hablando desde mi experiencia como creadora de contenido puedo decirles que una de las cosas más importantes para crecer en este mundo es tu comunidad, son ellos los que te van a validar, a apoyar y a impulsar a cambio de que les generes valor con tu contenido o con lo que construyes.

Secondly, I think it is important to mention something that I have commented on my social networks before, many times we sit and wait for a company to hire us, just like that, when there is a whole universe of monetization possibilities that can help you earn income in web3 while you wait for the company of your dreams to notice you or while you acquire new skills or improve the ones you already have, this brings me to the third point I want to talk about and in my opinion one of the most relevant. The community plays an important role in both web 3 and web 2 as both go hand in hand, speaking from my experience as a content creator I can tell you that one of the most important things to grow in this world is your community, they are the ones who will validate, support and encourage you in exchange for you generate value with your content or what you build.

Por último resaltaré dos cosas, como todo en la vida nada es 100% blanco o negro, existen proyectos que no son confiables, métodos poco ortodoxos, scams, estafas, personas que se lucran de engañar a los demás y pare de contar, por eso siempre es importante verificar todo lo relacionado a un proyecto en caso de que desees promocionarlo en tus redes o invertir en el, siempre es mejor prevenir que lamentar y más aún si te involucras con el marketing de un proyecto utilizando tus redes personales o tu imagen, pues podrías resultar salpicado si este termina siendo un scam. Finalmente les dejo una recomendación que les puede servir de mucho si están iniciando a colaborar con distintos proyectos, no tengan miedo a cobrar por su trabajo, ser voluntario nos ayuda a generar experiencia, pero siempre es bueno evaluar que tanto estás aportando tu y que tanto se te está devolviendo, tu tiempo es valioso y si no saben reconocerlo o retribuírtelo, pues ahí no es.

Finally I will highlight two things, like everything in life nothing is 100% black and white, there are projects that are not reliable, unorthodox methods, scams, scams, people who profit from deceiving others and stop counting, so it is always important to check everything related to a project in case you want to promote it in your networks or invest in it, it is always better safe than sorry and even more if you get involved with the marketing of a project using your personal networks or your image, because you could be splashed if this ends up being a scam. Finally I leave you with a recommendation that can be very useful if you are starting to collaborate with different projects, do not be afraid to charge for your work, being a volunteer helps us to generate experience, but it is always good to evaluate how much you are contributing and how much is being returned to you, your time is valuable and if you do not know how to recognize it or give it back, it is not there.
