Desde muy pequeña me llamaron la atención las manualidades, a los 10 años realicé mi primer curso de piezas navideñas en paño lency (fieltro). Al siguiente año recuerdo que los regalos para la familia en navidad eran adornos elaborados por mi, así poco a poco cada año realizaba adornos pero eran solo para obsequios o para mi hogar.
A los 17 años tuve a mi hija y el realizarle la decoración de su cuarto y los detalles de sus cumpleaños me hizo comenzar a crear manualidades con otros materiales como Fomy, papelería e icopor. Poco a poco iba aprendiendo a través de vídeo o por revistas (para aquella época se utilizaba mucho).
A través del tiempo comencé a vender algunos artículos elaborados por mi, pero más que todos a conocidos o personas recomendadas. A su vez realizaba mi carrera en administración y trabajaba en el área contable de algunas empresas.
Cuando mi hija tenía aproximadamente 6 años decidí realizar un curso profesional de tortas y gelatinas infantiles y otro de decoración con globos. Esta fue una actividad paralela a mi trabajo oficial. Estás actividades las realizaba los fines de semana y digamos que aquí es donde comienza mi vida cómo emprendedora. En ese momento realicé una inversión y comencé mi primer emprendimiento con una agencia de Festejo llamada " Mi pequeña gran Fiesta ". Me encantaba organizar fiestas infantiles pero confirmo que es muy agotador.
Algún tiempo después debido a la situación de Venezuela, la afluencia del mercado bajó considerablemente, y después de mucho tiempo, en el año 2016 tomé la decisión de emigrar a Barranquilla Colombia (Ciudad Natal de mi padre). El primer plan en esta ciudad era continuar con el emprendimiento de las tortas (pasteles) decoradas. Pero esto llevaba su tiempo y como todo emigrante, se necesita una estabilidad económica lo más pronto posible, por ello gracias a Dios ingresé a una empresa textil como auxiliar de facturación.
Este trabajo me permitió estabilizarme en el país pero mi alma manualista y emprendedora me pidió hacer algo con mis manos. Intenté seguir con las tortas decoradas pero por temas de horarios era muy complicado.
A partir de ese momento cambié un poco la actividad y comencé a realizar letreros personalizados en Fomy pero no era un rubro muy movido. Llega el momento de una idea que surgió de una de mis primas, ¿por qué intentar hacer apliques para lazos de niñas en porcelanicron?, debido a que ellas tenían un emprendimiento de accesorios para damas y niñas, podría funcionar.
Entonces en el año 2016 comencé a aprender y a realizar mis primeros apliques, aquí comienza un bello camino en este arte. Yo siempre veía los vídeos en YouTube de trabajos en porcelanicron o las entrevistas en programas de TV, me parecía un arte tan bonito. Mi mente decía "ojalá yo pudiera hacer esos muñequitos ".
Así poco a poco comencé a conocer este arte y cada día me enamoraba más de él. Al principio mis diseños no eran los más lindos pero tenía futuro 😂. Hoy en día llevo 4 años en este bello arte que ya poco a poco les iré contando y creo que será a lo que enfocaré mi blog.

This was a parallel activity to my official job. I did these activities on weekends and let's say that this is where my life as an entrepreneur begins. At that time I made an investment and started my first venture with a Celebration agency called "My little big Fiesta." I loved organizing children's parties but I confirm that it is very exhausting.
Some time later, due to the situation in Venezuela, the influx of the market decreased considerably, and after a long time, in 2016 I made the decision to emigrate to Barranquilla Colombia (my father's hometown). The first plan in this city was to continue with the enterprise of decorated cakes (cakes). But this took time and like every emigrant, you need economic stability as soon as possible, so thank God I joined a textile company as a billing assistant.
This job allowed me to stabilize in the country but my manualist and entrepreneurial soul asked me to do something with my hands. I tried to continue with the decorated cakes but due to scheduling issues it was very complicated.
From that moment on I changed my activity a little and started making personalized signs in Fomy but it was not a very busy field. The time has come for an idea that came from one of my cousins, why try to make appliqués for girls' bows in porcelain? Because they had an accessories business for women and girls, it could work.
So in 2016 I began to learn and make my first appliqués, here begins a beautiful path in this art. I always watched the videos on YouTube of porcelain work or the interviews on TV shows, it seemed like such beautiful art. My mind said "I wish I could make those dolls."
So little by little I began to get to know this art and every day I fell more in love with it. At first my designs were not the prettiest but they had a future 😂. Nowadays I have been working on this beautiful art for 4 years, which I will tell you about little by little and I think that will be what I will focus my blog on.
