Hace unos días realice una publicación en la que les compartía una película que en mi opinión muchos deberían ver, “Amistad” la cual trata sobre un barco negrero y toca parte de la cruda realidad de la esclavitud en durante el siglo IXX, en esta publicacion mencione que lo que para muchos es algo pasado, aun está presente, pero en diferentes formas, en pocas palabras evoluciono y ahora los esclavistas han encontrado maneras de atrapar personas para explotarlas , es lo que conocemos con el nombre de trata de personas.

Como ya muchos sabemos, las personas que se dedican a este negocio de explotación , engañan a hombres, mujeres y niños, con el propósito de obtener benéficos monetarios por medio de ellos, ya sea para vender sus órganos, explotarlos como mendigos, trabajo forzado, servidumbre doméstica, y la más común explotación sexual.
De la misma manera, un dato curioso es que los mas afectados suelen ser personas vulnerables en condiciones de refugiados o desplazados por conflictos, también las zonas o países con extrema pobreza, en pocas palabras los marginados del mundo, que en vista de necesidad y llenos muchas veces de inocencia e ignorancia caen en ofertas engañosas, además de las redes sociales que se han convertido en un arma para atraer a jóvenes y niños.

Ahora bien, porque he elegido tocar hoy este tema, pues resulta que hoy es el Día Mundial contra la Trata de Personas, este día fue declarado por la ONU en el año 2013 con el objetivo de concientizar no solo a las personas sino a los gobiernos del mundo sobre este azote, que muchas veces creemos esta muy lejos de nosotros y no es así, ya que ningún país escapa de él, por ejemplo, hace unos meses supe del caso de un niño que fue captado aquí en Venezuela por una misión de nombre Negra Hipólita la cual se encarga de rescatar personas en condiciones de densidad, drogadicción, prostitución, niños de la calle, entre otros, este niño al ver que el grupo se acechaba no corrió, esto llamo la atención del equipo que lo capto, al investigar, se descubrió que había sido secuestrado y apartado de su familia en el interior el país y había sido traído a la capital para trabajar en el Guaire en lo que actualmente se denomina Mineros del Guaire, este niño había sufrido de abuso sexual y psicológico.
Now, why I have chosen to touch today this topic, it turns out that today is the World Day against Trafficking in Persons, this day was declared by the UN in 2013 with the aim of raising awareness not only to people but to the governments of the world about this scourge, which many times we believe is far away from us and it is not so, since no country escapes it, for example, a few months ago I learned of the case of a child who was captured here in Venezuela by a mission named Negra Hipolita which is responsible for rescuing people in conditions of density, This child, upon seeing that the group was stalking him, did not run, this caught the attention of the team that captured him, upon investigating, it was discovered that he had been kidnapped and separated from his family in the interior of the country and had been brought to the capital to work in the Guaire in what is currently called Mineros del Guaire, this child had suffered sexual and psychological abuse.
Ya para concluir, quiero resaltar, que esta fecha es de suma importancia, creo debemos hacer eco de esta triste realidad no solo en esta fecha, cada día para alertar a mujeres, hombres, niños y jóvenes, de que pueden ser víctimas de la trata de personas. por un momento de descuido y confianza mal depositada, es vital educar a niños y jóvenes en el uso correcto de internet y estar atentos a sus contactos y amistades, donde se encuentran y quienes los rodean, para evitar este tipo de situaciones, así este tema da mucho para exponer y tratar, así que deseo que mi publicación les anime a orientar a sus familiares y conocidos , me despido con un gran abrazo y esperando leer sus comentarios.
