Mi nombre es Andrés Antonio Brunet Mikuskiewicz.
Conocí Hive a través de los canales de Telegram de @lugodev, y después ingresé en la comunidad #HiveCuba.
Me puse a profundizar en distintos medios, sobre esta red descentralizada que opera en la Blockchain, ví los vídeos de Robert Sasuke, algunos post de @eddiespino, y un podcast donde éste y @elizabeth14 expusieron sus experiencias.
Pude apreciar la visión, el enfoque, y el crecimiento que va teniendo el ecosistema, gracias a los contenidos de valor, la interacción dinámica, y el meritorio trabajo de los curadores en mantener los objetivos y el cumplimiento de los términos. Por todo ello, decidí registrarme, y formar parte de la familia de Hive.

My name is Andrés Antonio Brunet Mikuskiewicz.
I got to know Hive through @lugodev's Telegram channels, and then joined the #HiveCuba community.
I started to delve into different media, about this decentralized network that operates on the Blockchain, I saw Robert Sasuke's videos, some posts by @eddiespino, and a podcast where he and @elizabeth14 exposed their experiences.
I could appreciate the vision, the focus, and the growth that the ecosystem is having, thanks to the valuable content, the dynamic interaction, and the meritorious work of the curators in maintaining the objectives and the fulfillment of the terms. For all these reasons, I decided to register, and become part of the Hive family.
🔸Mis primeros pasos en la vida:
Nací del resultado de una linda historia de amor que germinó tras el encuentro entre mi padre Cubano y mi madre Polaca, que se gestó en Checoslovaquia, para anidarse definitivamente en la Habana, Cuba.
Tengo ahora 56 años de edad, una hermana menor, y formé una linda familia, con dos hijos varones.
Vivo cerca del mar, en un municipio costero llamado Playa. De niño siempre me gustó la natación, explorar las bellezas del mundo marino, y practicar Buceo, tanto en apnea como con equipamiento autónomo.
Me gusta investigar y seguir mis sueños. Ello me ha llevado a transitar en mi crecimiento diario, tanto por experiencias gratificantes, como por otras que casi me cuestan la vida.
🔸My first steps in life:
I was born from the result of a beautiful love story that germinated after the encounter between my Cuban father and my Polish mother, which gestated in Czechoslovakia, to nestle definitively in Havana, Cuba.
I am now 56 years old, I have a younger sister, and I have a beautiful family with two sons.
I live near the sea, in a coastal town called Playa. As a child I always liked swimming, exploring the beauties of the marine world, and practicing scuba diving, both in apnea and with autonomous equipment.
I like to investigate and follow my dreams. This has led me to transit in my daily growth, both rewarding experiences, and others that almost cost me my life.
🔸Mi incursión profesional:
Soy Médico desde 1989, una hermosa carrera que amerita vocación, sensibilidad y humanismo, pero también una actualización constante.
Pude fusionar mi pasión por el medio marino y la medicina, a través de la especialidad de "Medicina Subacuática e Hiperbárica".
Fuí el médico del Instituto de Oceanología de Cuba por muchos años, y Presidente de la Comisión Médica de la Federación Cubana de Actividades Subacuáticas (FCAS), junto a su presidenta, la recordista mundial de apnea de inmersión: Deborah Andollo; donde tuve el placer de asegurar diversos eventos Nacionales e Internacionales deportivos de apnea, pesca submarina y de fotografía submarina.
Actualmente, me dedico a la docencia, asesoría y formación, a nivel de postgrados, en Diplomados y Maestrías de mi especialidad.

🔸My professional incursion:
I have been a Physician since 1989, a beautiful career that merits vocation, sensitivity and humanism, but also constant updating.
I was able to merge my passion for the marine environment and medicine, through the specialty of "Underwater and Hyperbaric Medicine".
I was the doctor of the Institute of Oceanology of Cuba for many years, and President of the Medical Commission of the Cuban Federation of Underwater Activities (FCAS), along with its president, the world record holder in freediving: Deborah Andollo; where I had the pleasure of ensuring various national and international sporting events of freediving, spearfishing and underwater photography.
Currently, I am dedicated to teaching, consulting and training, at postgraduate level, in Diplomas and Masters of my specialty.
🔸Otras aficiones y gustos:
Amo la Naturaleza y toda su gran Biodiversidad. Siempre he tenido mascotas, pero los perros son mis preferidos. Dan amor incondicional.
En casa tenemos a mi gatica de nombre Pantera y a mi perrito Curioso, que son parte de nuestra familia también.
Me gusta el sonido de Alta Fidelidad, los equipos de Audio Vintage de la época de la tecnología analógica. Una buena música, unas copas de vino cuando se puede, un intercambio de palabras interesantes, y que la magia del instante cimiente la realidad.
Me encanta tomar fotos, y congelar las luces de un momento dado que siempre podremos vivenciar después.
Con los años, el alma humana se va nutriendo de esos pequeños detalles, y las fotos siempre ayudarán a desencofrar de la conciencia, esos bellos recuerdos.
Mis Mascotas/My Pets
🔸Other hobbies and likes:
I love Nature and all its great Biodiversity. I have always had pets, but dogs are my favorite. They give unconditional love.
At home we have my kitty named Pantera and my little dog Curioso, who are part of our family too.
I like the sound of High Fidelity, Vintage Audio equipment from the era of analog technology. Good music, a few glasses of wine when I can, an exchange of interesting words, and the magic of the moment cementing reality.
I love to take pictures, and freeze the lights of a given moment that we can always experience later.
Over the years, the human soul is nourished by those small details, and the photos will always help to decrypt from consciousness, those beautiful memories.
🔸Otros Proyectos:
Soy cofundador y actual CEO de un proyecto de Educación Ambiental bien conocido en Cuba, con una maduración de 18 años de fundado, llamado "Proyecto Acualina", donde fomentamos desde las edades tempranas de la vida, y desde las escuelas primarias, el amor a la naturaleza, a nuestro planeta Tierra que es nuestra casa, lo relacionado a la protección del medio ambiente y la sostenibilidad de los recursos naturales.
Así, nuestros niños y niñas, van tomando conciencia de estos aspectos, que son de gran importancia a nivel mundial.
Muchos cubanos podrán recordar los anuncios publicitarios de Acualina, la muñequita animada, que por nuestra televisión nacional siempre inició sus mensajes diciendo:
Yo soy Acualina, y quiero invitarlos a preservar, nuestro planeta Azul...

🔸Other Projects:
I am co-founder and current CEO of an Environmental Education project well known in Cuba, with a maturity of 18 years of founded, called "Proyecto Acualina", where we encourage from the early ages of life, and from primary schools, the love of nature, our planet Earth which is our home, related to environmental protection and sustainability of natural resources.
Thus, our children are becoming aware of these aspects, which are of great importance worldwide.
Many Cubans may remember the commercials of Acualina, the little animated doll, who on national television always began her messages by saying:
I am Acualina, and I want to invite you to preserve, our Blue planet...
🔸¿Qué puedo aportar a Hive?
Mi humilde experiencia personal, con un lenguaje claro, en temas de mis especialidades médicas, lo relacionado a la protección medioambiental, la naturaleza, organismos que la habitan, y otros temas diversos.
Si les digo que subiré contenido con una frecuencia diaria, faltaría a mi palabra. De niño, sufrí un accidente, que me lesionó la córnea de un ojo, y perdí 3 dedos de mi mano derecha. Ahora, con 56 años de edad, con la presbicia en aumento, hace que me cueste más trabajo escribir. Pero lo haré siempre a mi paso, ya que también llevo varios canales en Telegram, y grupos en Facebook donde les genero contenido.
Acabo de perder a mi mamá hace un mes, y entre el vacío y el dolor que reina en mi hogar, cuidamos a mi padre (también médico), que con sus 94 años, sigue luchando por la vida, a pesar de la depresión que le causa la ausencia de su esposa y compañía de tantos años, más sus problemas de salud acrecentados por el tiempo.
🔸What can I contribute to Hive?
My humble personal experience, with a clear language, in topics of my medical specialties, what is related to environmental protection, nature, organisms that inhabit it and other diverse subjects.
If I tell you that I will upload content on a daily basis, I would be going back on my word. As a child, I suffered an accident, which injured the cornea of one eye, and I lost 3 fingers of my right hand. Now, at 56 years of age, with increasing presbyopia, it makes it harder for me to write. But I will always do it at my pace, as I also run several channels on Telegram, and Facebook groups where I generate content for them.
I just lost my mom a month ago, and between the emptiness and pain that reigns in my home, we take care of my father (also a doctor), who with his 94 years, continues to fight for life, despite the depression caused by the absence of his wife and company of so many years, plus his problems.
🔸¿Qué deseo y espero de Hive?
Nutrirme del aporte de cada miembro, interactuar con la comunidad, y que todos podamos crecer con las experiencias y el feedback que nos brinda el ecosistema, con su gran cóctel de plataformas adjuntas.
Me gusta dar ejemplo a mis hijos, y que sientan, que su papá a pesar de sus limitaciones físicas, trata de estar actualizado en las nuevas tendencias de los activos digitales, la Blockchain que se impone cada día, y todo adelanto que florece en ésta era digital.
Les muestro con mis acciones, y metafóricamente hablando, a qué ellos aprendan a pescar, y no que reciban siempre, los pescados regalados.
Si alguna persona quisiera recompensarme por el valor que puedan darle mis letras futuras, le estaría agradecido, siempre viene bien. Pero si no es así, me da mucho placer el compartirles mis experiencias. Siempre lo he hecho de corazón, y sin remuneración alguna.
El mejor regalo en Hive, será crecer todos juntos, aprendiendo cada día de nuestros errores y aciertos, y que logremos dignificar nuestros mejores valores humanos.

🔸What do I wish and expect from Hive?
Nourish from the contribution of each member, interact with the community, and that we can all grow with the experiences and feedback that gives us the ecosystem, with its great cocktail of attached platforms.
I like to set an example to my children, and make them feel that their dad, despite his physical limitations, tries to be updated in the new trends of digital assets, the Blockchain that is imposed every day, and all advances that flourish in this digital era.
I show them with my actions, and metaphorically speaking, that they learn to fish, and not always receive the fish for free.
If someone would like to reward me for the value they can give my future letters, I would be grateful, it always comes in handy. But if not, it gives me great pleasure to share my experiences. I have always done it from my heart, and without remuneration.
The best gift in Hive, will be to grow all together, learning every day from our mistakes and successes, and that we manage to dignify our best human values.
