Saludos nuevamente hoy Lunes 6 de Marzo 2023, a la comunidad de Visualblock. He regresado hoy, con otro juego de mesa, pues considero que todos estos ítems de lo que fue la cultura del pasado Siglo XX poco a poco desaparecerán, o simplemente serán sustituidos por su versión digital; y para hoy les he traído el LUDO, que era un clásico cuando yo estaba niña, y aunque era limitado muy el número de jugadores (máximo 4), a veces nos turnábamos, o sea, se hacía una partida, finalizaba, y venía otra tanda de jugadores, de este modo nadie que quería jugar, quedaba por fuera.

I have returned today, with another board game, because I believe that all these items of what was the culture of the past 20th century will gradually disappear, or will simply be replaced by their digital version; and for today I have brought you LUDO, which was a classic when I was a child, and although the number of players was very limited (maximum 4), sometimes we took turns, that is, we made a game ended, and another batch of players came, in this way no one who wanted to play was left out.
Como comenté en mi post pasado referido al Bingo, en la urbanización siempre jugábamos menos niños el Ludo, precisamente porque no admitía muchos jugadores, pero en ocasiones éramos pocos, o simplemente nos turnábamos y sí nos divertíamos con este juego. Era a veces cómico ver a algunos que no estaban jugando, opinando, y dando consejos de cómo hacer la jugada, a veces los que estaban de mirones, viendo el juego sin participar, se emocionaban más que los mismos jugadores, jajajaja, y hacían gestos, gritaban, incluso decían alguna grosería.
As I commented in my last post referring to Bingo, in the urbanization fewer children always played Ludo, precisely because it did not admit many players, but sometimes we were few, or we simply took turns and did have fun with this game. It was sometimes funny to see some who weren't playing, giving their opinion, and giving advice on how to make the play, sometimes those who were onlookers, watching the game without participating, got more excited than the players themselves, hahahaha, and made gestures , they shouted, they even said something rude
Al igual que me ocurrió con el Bingo, con el Ludo me costó un poco comprender su dinámica. Sólo la práctica y las orientaciones de los mayores, me permitieron poder comprenderlo y jugarlo. Recuerdo que al principio siempre determinábamos el orden de la salida, (quien sale antes tiene más posibilidades de ganar), lanzando un dado, que obtuviese el número más alto, era el que salía primero. Cuando había empate, o sea que se obtenía un mismo número, entonces lo resolvíamos bien con otro lanzamiento de dados, o a veces nos poníamos creativos y lo resolvíamos con el clásico Piedra, Papel y Tijera, jajajajaja.
As it happened to me with Bingo, with Ludo it took me a bit to understand its dynamics. Only practice and guidance from the elders allowed me to understand and play it. I remember that at the beginning we always determined the starting order, (whoever starts first has more chances of winning), throwing a dice, which obtained the highest number, was the one who came out first. When there was a tie, that is, the same number was rolled, then we would solve it either with another roll of the dice, or sometimes we would get creative and solve it with the classic Rock, Paper, Scissors, hahahaha
Como otras cosas de mi niñez, este es un bonito recuerdo, esas tardes y noches, o fines de semana en que jugábamos reunidos en casa, y como lo que te hace feliz, tratas de tenerlo en tu vida, yo luego de adulta, me compré este Ludo, que es una versión muy sencilla y económica, lo compré en una quincallería cerca de mi casa, y lo he jugado pocas veces con mi familia, por eso está nuevecito. Si ven la esquina de la caja, tiene las marcas de unos afilados dientecillos, ese es uno de mis gatos, que se subió al estante en donde lo guardo, y le provocó morder la caja, afortunadamente lo encontré a tiempo y se lo quité.
Like other things from my childhood, this is a beautiful memory, those afternoons and nights, or weekends when we played together at home, and as what makes you happy, you try to have it in your life, after I become an adult, I I bought this Ludo, which is a very simple and cheap version, I bought it at a store near my house, and I've played it a few times with my family, that's why it's brand new. If you see the corner of the box, it has the marks of some sharp little teeth, that's one of my cats, which climbed onto the shelf where I keep it, and caused it to bite the box, fortunately I found it in time and took it away.
Una de las cosas que me gustan de esta versión en particular, es que es hecha con material de reciclaje, según indica el empaque en el exterior; y si observan algunas fichas, (casi todas), verán que son fichas recicladas de bolas de Bingo, por lo que para mí es un plus, es algo chévere que se reutilicen elementos que aún están en buen estado.
One of the things I like about this particular version is that it is made with recycled material, as indicated on the outside packaging; and if you look at some of the chips (almost all of them), you will see that they are recycled bingo ball chips, so for me it's a plus, it's cool that elements that are still in good condition are reused.
Quizás algunos de ustedes nunca han oído hablar del Ludo, otros quizás sí, aunque con toda franqueza, creo que poco a poco este juego va quedando atrás en el tiempo, pues no he visto su versión digital y en los casinos no creo que sea un juego popular, las personas por lo general prefieren el Bingo, la Ruleta, el Black Jack, las máquinas traganíqueles entre otras. Y tú, ¿has jugado Ludo?
Perhaps some of you have never heard of Ludo, others perhaps have, although frankly, I think that little by little this game is falling behind in time, since I have not seen its digital version and in casinos I do not think it is a popular game, people usually prefer Bingo, Roulette, Black Jack, slot machines among others.
