La señora Bennet tiene cuatro hijas: Jane, Mary, Elizabeth o Lizzy, Catherine "Kitty" y Lydia. Cada una de ellas ha sido educada o preparada para saber como se comporta una señorita al momento de contraer matrimonio. La llegada del joven Charles Bingley se acerca, un joven rico y con buenos contactos que califica como el perfecto candidato para ser esposo de alguna de las hermanas Bennet. Durante la estadía del joven Bingley Elizabeth (una de las hermanas Bennet) conoce al señor Darcy con quien tiene un encuentro poco agradable, él es un hombre rico, inteligente y también tímido, la relación de estos dos personajes se va desarrollando poco a poco en base al orgullo y al prejuicio.
Esta obra de Jane Austen esta considerada entre los clásicos de la novela inglesa, suele escribir novelas conservadoras y sin duda Orgullo y Prejuicio publicada en el año 1813 es la más famosa entre todas, después le seguiría Persuasión del año 1817.
Mi primera opción al momento de leer no suele ser una novela romántica, pero había escuchado tanto de Orgullo y Prejuicio que sentía la necesidad de leerla y por su puesto que no me arrepiento, este tiene una escritura bastante ligera (algo que me sorprendió por lo años que tiene de publicado) además la autora sabe como explicar bastante bien las situaciones y cada uno de los escenarios así que no te pierdes al momento de leerlo. Los protagonistas son lo mejor del libro, con su relación te vas a reír, a frustrar y sentirás muchas otras cosas que te harán querer seguir leyendo, conozco pocas personas que no has leído esta Obra de Austin y si tu eres una de ellas tu momento es ahora.

During the stay of the young Bingley Elizabeth (one of the Bennet sisters) meets Mr. Darcy with whom she has a not very pleasant encounter, he is a rich, intelligent and also shy man, the relationship of these two characters develops little by little based on pride and prejudice.

My first choice when reading is not usually a romance novel, but I had heard so much of Pride and Prejudice that I felt the need to read it and of course I do not regret it, this has a fairly light writing (something that surprised me for the years it has been published) plus the author knows how to explain the situations and each of the scenarios quite well so you do not get lost when reading it. The main characters are the best of the book, with their relationship you will laugh, frustrate and feel many other things that will make you want to keep reading, I know few people who have not read this work of Austin and if you are one of them your time is now.
