Teemu Suninen is still with M-Sport Ford WRC team beside the truth that he destroyed their car at the first special stage of Monte Carlo Rallye last month.
Roll cage was smashed and their engineers couldn't repair it that he can start the next day under Super Rally rules with time penalties.
Fact that saved his seat was his speed because at that point in the rally he was the fastest car on the road so that was kinda good in the eyes of Malcolm Wilson, owner of M-Sport.
At least they know that they have some speed against Toyota and Hyundai, but especially Toyota because their Yaris WRC is the fastest car at the moment.
So at least they started with the testing because they are semi-private team and they lack some budget in the last 12 months.
Suninen will have to bring the car to the finish if he wants another outing with the team. If he crash out again, it could be a nail in his career, at least at M-Sport Ford.
