Toroid - Light Painting Photography on Hive

DSC_1052edWeb01.jpeg

Hi Hive folks,

this is another "Lockdown-Straight-out-of-my-livingroom" shot.

In the last few days I saw some Nasa images that inspired me for this shot.

A few different light sources were used for the toroid, a stencil for the stars and an LED umbrella for the beam.

I wish you a creative time, stay healthy! 🤗

What is painting with light?

Light painting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
