DSC_0645edWeb.JPG

Hello Hive-Community,

next Part of lightpainting experiments with fluorescence.
If you missed the first part, click here: Experiments with fluorescence Part 1

In this shot I have added a light figure with camera rotation in the middle of the fluorescent element.

What is camera rotation?

Camera Rotation is a Light Painting technique that falls into the category of kinetic Light Painting. The CRT (Camera Rotation Tool) is a device which allows the camera lens axis to be rotated during a single exposure.

Tools for the middle part! Camera Rotation with an "Icecream-Blade" and a multicolor LED-strip.

Again, I modelled a pattern on a piece of black cardboard with the fluorescent colours and placed it in front of the camera. Then I rotated the camera 6x60 degrees.

For the fluorescent part:

Sigma 28-70 mm @50mm f/5.6 | ISO 100 | Rotation 6x60 degrees

for the rotation part in the middle:

swapped tripod and lens from Sigma to Samyang 14 mm
f/14 | ISO 100 | Rotation 6x60 degrees

344 sec. total exposure time

Single exposure shot! No photoshop!

The image was taken in several steps, during a longexposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
