Hello Hiveworld,
Today I show you an image which was made in cooperation with my LP-Buddy Maddin. It was a great and creative night with lots of energy. I miss this kind of common creative work.
The location is under the Mittelland Kanal, near Hannover in Germany. It is an impressive construction when you consider that thousands of litres of water flow above our heads and ships pass overhead, while we waved with light below.
Maddin painted the spiral in the middle with an acrylic rod with a yellow colour filter. When he finished I lit up the impressive steel structures and the rest of the location. The camera was mounted on my CRT, so we could do a 180 degree turn after the first part and the steel structures were lit again.
It was a fantastic night, with a lot of creative spirit. I really miss those nights.
The image was taken in several steps, during a longexposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
