Using a laser for lightpainting

Lasers are often overused by lightpainters and for a while I hadn't used one mainly due to the fact I lost mine! I bought a shiny new one and spent a night in the dark trying to avoid damaging my sensor!

In the Bat Cave

@fadetoblack and I have passed this diminutive tunnel probably 200 times and never bothered to take a look inside. The walls are made of stone and the ceiling from steel plates with rivets all over the place. It appears to have been a structure to support a water tower alongside a trans-Pennine railway, now abandoned.

The headroom in the bat cave is probably only 6 feet and it's a struggle to move around inside. It's handy when your lightpainting buddy is several inches shorter!

About me:
I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.
