We recently stumbled across this tunnel on our way to recce another location and decided it deserved the lightpainting treatment.
For this shot, my LP buddy stood with a spinning drill attached to a pole with a lit firework (don't try this at home kids!). Whilst the firework was spinning, I popped the flash at the back of the frame remotely then waved a red gelled flashlight from behind the camera to create a contrasting colour to bring out the textures.
My only problem with this shot if I was self critical is the white shoes being worn by the model....they appear very red!!
About me:
I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.
