Hoy les traigo una super recomendación hace unos meses vi en un video. ¿Sabían que nuestra cocina especialmente el fregadero o lavaplatos y las esponjas de nuestra cocina tienen más bacterias y gérmenes que nuestro baño? Esto se debe a la humedad y a la descomposición de los restos de comida, que se van por el desagüe del lavaplatos. Además, que muchas veces colocamos alimentos para descongelar y la sangre de estos es un rápido cultivo para la proliferación de bacterias que pueden afectar nuestra salud y la de nuestra familia.
Hello Home Solutions friends! I haven't written here in a while but I had a lot of work to do and I haven't had time to sit down and organize some pending posts. Today I bring you a super recommendation I saw in a video a few months ago, did you know that our kitchen especially the sink or dishwasher and the sponges in our kitchen have more bacteria and germs than our bathroom? This is due to moisture and the decomposition of leftover food, which goes down the dishwasher drain. In addition, many times we put food to defrost and the blood of these is a fast culture for the proliferation of bacteria that can affect our health and that of our family.
Por eso les traigo unos tips para la limpieza de nuestro lavaplatos y los utensilios de lavar nuestros platos y con lo que preparamos los alimentos de nuestra familia.

Lo mejor de todo es que es con ingredientes naturales solo vamos a necesitar: limón, bicarbonato de sodio, jabón de lavar platos o jabón en polvo y vinagre.
The best of all is that it is with natural ingredients we will only need: lemon, baking soda, dishwashing soap or soap powder and vinegar.
Primero, vamos a desinfectar nuestras esponjas de lavar los platos.

Quítale muy bien el jabón, humedécelas y luego colócalas en el microondas por unos 2-4 minutos atenta que nuestra esponja no tenga partes metálicas, esas no puedes meterlas en el microondas.

También puedes hervir agua y colocas el agua hirviendo a nuestras esponjas hasta enfriar le puedes agregar un chorrito de vinagre y una vez estén frías las sacas del agua las enjuagas y están listas para usar. Esto usualmente lo hago en la noche todos los dias ya que las esponjas son usadas diariamente y así evitamos la acumulación de bacterias.
You can also boil water and put the boiling water on our sponges until cool, add a splash of vinegar and once they are cool, take them out of the water, rinse them and they are ready to use. I usually do this at night every day since the sponges are used daily and this way we avoid the accumulation of bacteria.
Otra limpieza que debemos hacer es al Lavaplatos o fregadero y al desagüe del mismo para eliminar los malos olores y bacterias que se producen en las tuberías. Vamos a colocar bicarbonato de sodio a nuestro sumidero o tubería de lavaplatos y vamos a dejar por 10 minutos.
Another cleaning we should do is to clean the dishwasher or sink and its drain to eliminate bad odors and bacteria that are produced in the pipes. We are going to place baking soda to our drain or dishwasher pipe and we are going to leave it for 10 minutes.
Luego, colocamos media taza de vinagre y vemos como se forma una espuma por la acción química con el bicarbonato. Esperamos 15 minutos y colocamos agua hirviendo en nuestra tubería del lavaplatos.

Enjuagamos con abundante agua tibia y secamos con un paño de microfibra.

Si tu grifería se desarma como la mía puedes hervir y lavar con bicarbonato el área por donde sale el agua es impresionante pero ahí se acumulan sedimentos y hasta micro plásticos de cuando el agua viene un poco sucia.

Como extra no podemos olvidar nuestros pañitos de secar y lavar estos los puedes lavar con agua caliente , los dejas remojando por 15 minutos con jabón en polvo o jabón de lavar platos y bicarbonato. Los enjuagas con agua tibia y secas al sol.
Y listo!
Espero que estos tips les sirvan de ayuda tanto como me sirvieron a mi puedes hacer esto 3 veces a la semana. Aunque lo de las esponjas si lo hago cada vez que termino de lavar los platos.
As an extra we can not forget our drying and washing cloths, you can wash them with hot water, let them soak for 15 minutes with soap powder or dish soap and baking soda. Rinse them with warm water and dry them in the sun.
