Hoy te cuento en mi blog, una de las labores del hogar, las reparaciones, estas pueden ser de diferentes índoles, desde arreglar ese microondas para ahorrarte tiempo en la cocina, hasta cómo reparas esas paredes que están feas por efectos de la humedad o filtraciones, este es mi caso, je, je, je.
Aunque les confieso, este no es mi hogar, pero si estoy cargo de este apartamento desde hace unos años, ya que mi tía no se encuentra para atenderlo, así que si de limpiar y mantener en orden un hogar, yo lo estoy de 3, sí, el mío, el de mi tía y el de una prima, así que me toca la limpiadera en los 3, lo bueno es que aquellos dos no es todos los días y mi esposo me ayuda, en sí él hace la mayor parte je, je, je.
Bueno, en el apartamento de mi tía, hay dos habitaciones y un baño, con las paredes muy feas, producto de las filtraciones, una por el ducto de las cablerías y tuberías, que ya lo mandamos arreglar y otra al parecer viene del apartamento de arriba que tiene un inodoro dañado, como tampoco hay gente, no buscan las maneras de solucionar y bueno nosotros somos los afectados.
Como ven las paredes están muy deterioradas y cada vez que vamos a limpiar nos toca todo ese polvo que sale de las paredes y el techo que se escama toda la pintura. Hace días mi tía nos mandó dinero para comprar una pasta, lija y pinturas para disimular esas filtraciones, mientras el vecino se reporta.
Se ha hablado con los encargados de ese apartamento para nosotros arreglarles la falla que ellos tienen y así no nos sigan afectando, pero ni eso. No se reportan y mientras tanto este apartamento que mi tía tenía bien lindo se ve muy feo en esos lugares que les muestro.
Mi esposo, además que me ayuda con el mantenimiento y la limpieza de este apartamento, también se ofreció para quitar la pintura levantada, luego le paso lija 80 para alisar las paredes y el techo. Aunque lijo bastante, igual quedan muchas imperfecciones, así que le estuvo echando pasta, una sustancia como un cemento, pero más manejable para las paredes.
Ese día yo estaba de supervisora de obra, la verdad que siempre estoy atenta a los detalles, cuando uno quiere un trabajo bien, hay que estar encima de los trabajadores, así ver las fallas a la primera. Le decía por aquí se ve mal, por aquí también y quejas y más quejas, estaba que le quitaba la espátula y lo hacía yo misma. Pero me di cuenta de que no es nada fácil.
Además, él tenía las manos cansada de tanto lijar y yo solo viendo y leyendo en Hive, je, je, je. Él me dice que luego esas imperfecciones se quitan lijando otra vez. Me quedé quieta para que siguiera el trabajo y yo leyendo je, je, je. Estamos por ir otra vez, para pasar al proceso de lijado de la pasta y pintar las paredes.
Además, que estamos pendientes de las reparaciones que hay que hacerle al vecino de arriba. Así que los mantendré al tanto de esta labor que nos encomendaron. Ah, no se crean que solo andaba leyendo en mi blog, luego de que mi esposo termino con lo que le tocaba, me toco barrer como 3 veces para sacar el polvo y no sé cuantos coletos pase je, je, je, no salí lisa.

Repairing leaks

Today I tell you in my blog, one of the household chores, repairs, these can be of different kinds, from fixing that microwave to save you time in the kitchen, to how you repair those walls that are ugly due to moisture or leaks, this is my case, heh, heh, heh.
Although I confess, this is not my home, but I am in charge of this apartment since a few years ago, since my aunt is not here to take care of it, so if I have to clean and keep a home in order, I am in charge of 3 homes, yes, mine, my aunt's and a cousin's, so I have to clean all 3, the good thing is that those two are not every day and my husband helps me, he does most of it he, he, he, he, he.
Well, in my aunt's apartment, there are two rooms and a bathroom, with very ugly walls, product of leaks, one by the duct of the plumbing and pipes, which we already had it fixed and another apparently comes from the apartment above that has a damaged toilet, as there are no people, they do not seek ways to solve and well we are the ones affected.
As you can see the walls are very deteriorated and every time we go to clean we get all the dust that comes out of the walls and the ceiling that flakes all the paint. Days ago my aunt sent us money to buy a paste, sandpaper and paints to disguise these leaks, while the neighbor reports.
We have talked to the people in charge of that apartment so that we can fix the problem so that they do not continue to affect us, but not even that. They do not report and meanwhile this apartment that my aunt had very nice looks very ugly in those places that I show you.
My husband, besides helping me with the maintenance and cleaning of this apartment, also offered to remove the lifted paint, then he sanded the walls and ceiling with 80 grit sandpaper to smooth the walls and ceiling. Although he sanded a lot, there were still many imperfections, so he was pouring paste, a substance like cement, but more manageable for the walls.
That day I was supervising the work, the truth is that I am always attentive to details, when you want a good job, you have to be on top of the workers, so you can see the flaws at the first time. I was telling him that this way it looks bad, this way too, and complaints and more complaints, I was ready to take off the spatula and do it myself. But I realized that it is not easy at all.
Besides, he had his hands tired of so much sanding and I was just watching and reading on Hive, heh, heh, heh, heh. He tells me that then those imperfections are removed by sanding again. I stayed still so he could continue the work and me reading heh, heh, heh, heh. We are about to go again, to move on to the process of sanding the paste and painting the walls.
Also, we are pending the repairs that need to be done to the upstairs neighbor. So I will keep you updated on this work that we have been entrusted with. Ah, don't think that I was just reading my blog, after my husband finished with what he had to do, I had to sweep about 3 times to get the dust off and I don't know how many brochures I went through heh, heh, heh, I didn't come out smooth.
