I will be participating with 3 (three) simple arrangements that, although they are not the best, worked and still work as a temporary arrangement and can be useful for someone.

Hace tiempo el picaporte del lado de afuera de la habitación se había salido y solamente se podía abrir la puerta desde adentro, así que, si cerraba la puerta por error estando fuera de la habitación, debía dormir en la sala.
- Para solucionarlo compramos uno nuevo e intentamos unirlo al que había quedado, pero no encajaban. Luego notamos que la placa que rodeaba a ambos picaportes hacía que estos no pudieran encajar, así que decidí quitar ambas y así logre que encajaran y ahora puedo abrir la puerta de ambos lados. Claro que quedo marcada en esa zona, por eso utilizamos una pintura marrón parecida para disimular, aunque se nota, ¿ustedes qué creen?
Some time ago the doorknob on the outside of the room had come off and the door could only be opened from the inside, so if I closed the door by mistake when I was out of the room, I had to sleep in the living room.
- To solve this we bought a new one and tried to attach it to the one that was left, but they did not fit. Then we noticed that the plate that surrounded both latches made that they could not fit, so I decided to remove both and so I got them to fit and now I can open the door from both sides. Of course it was marked in that area, so we used a similar brown paint to hide it, although it is noticeable, what do you think?

Toda la parte inferior de este mueble está completamente desgranada, basta solo moverlo unos centímetros para que deje un rastro de madera salida desde abajo. Todo a su alrededor quedaba descubierto y no tenía muy buen aspecto.
- Mi mamá decidió colocarle una cinta especial alrededor y pintarla con la misma pintura que utilizamos para la puerta, aquí si combinaba más y casi ni se nota la cinta. Quizá no sea una solución definitiva porque se sigue desgranando, pero al menos cubrimos ese aspecto horrible que tenía hasta que podamos comprar una nueva.

La puerta de mi baño fue golpeada bruscamente en un arranque de ira de mi papá, le hizo un tajo bastante notable casi en el centro y por muchos años se mantuvo así. Nos traía malos recuerdos, pero era imposible arreglarla y comprar otra puerta estaba fuera de nuestro presupuesto.
- El dia de la madre del año pasado le hice un vestido de origami a mi mamá que le encanto y decidió pegarlo justo donde estaba ese golpe. Debo decir que lo cubrió en su totalidad y ya no se ve, además de que queda coqueto y decorativo. El vapor de la ducha no le afecta para nada, así que quedara ahí un largo periodo.

Esta es mi entrada, verán que es muy sencilla y humilde, pero fueron soluciones temporales que hasta el dia de hoy siguen funcionando. Esto sirve cuando el presupuesto no alcanza para arreglar algunas cosas o no se tienen los materiales adecuados para arreglarla uno mismo. De todas formas, pensamos que quedaron bien y para lo que queríamos sirvió.

This is my entry, you will see that it is very simple and humble, but they were temporary solutions that to this day still work. This is useful when the budget is not enough to fix some things or you don't have the right materials to fix it yourself. Anyway, we thought they looked good and what we wanted them to do.
