The Holy Spirit

But ye have an unction from the Holy one, and ye know all things. (1 John 2:20)

We often read the scripture that says “…grief not the Holy Spirit of God..” why do we think the bible instruct us so? Often times we grief the Holy Spirit by constantly indulging in sinful acts, some which are consciously and some unconsciously.
But which ever way we are grieving the Holy Spirit, we should endeavor to stop.
The Holy Spirit is our teacher and comforter. Without the Holy Spirit, we are just empty.

The Holy Spirit is the key to our knowledge of God and through Him, we also know all things.
The Holy Spirit helps reveal the deep and hidden things about God Almighty to us.
The Holy Spirit is part of the trinity, made up of three distinct persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has the characteristics of a personality. That is further seen in John 14:26, “But the comforter which is the Holy Ghost, whom the father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you”.

No man can understand God through processes of logic or reasoning, rather, through the help of the Holy Spirit. That is why we must always pray for the Holy Spirit’s influence in our lives, every time and every day of our lives.

This day, I pray the Holy Spirit in you shall enlighten you to execute that idea, aspiration, dream, vision and business.
David understood the place of the Spirit in his life, thus when he committed atrocity and sinned with Bathsheba, he cried out to God saying, “Do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take your Holy Spirit from me” (Psalm 51:11).

The influence of the Holy Ghost shall continually lead, guard, guide and direct you into all knowledge.

Shalom!

Remain Blessed
