Be loyal to god

No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. Matthew 6:24

Loyalty to God leads us to be firm in dedication to serve only Him. God gives us the power to obtain riches, after we obtain riches, it seems contradictory, that riches want to enslave us and want to steal our dedication to serve the Almighty .

We have to abandon any ambition that compromises our dedication to God. When something wants to steal the time you dedicate to God, you must be very careful, because that something, which may well be wealth, can separate you from the love of God and when you least think about it, you become totally cold.

God is not opposed to riches, because he wants his children to prosper in all things, God does not want us to be anxious for riches. There are Christians who, in hours of service to God, remain entirely looking for ways and means to increase their assets. Ambition can be downright dangerous, it can drag us to the brink of anxiety, and we can lose our appetite or hunger for the things of God.

When riches become stumbling blocks to seeking God, then they act like another lord in your life. The Lord warns that you cannot serve two masters, that is, neither serve God nor serve wealth completely.

Abraham was an extremely wealthy man, very blessed and prosperous by God, but he never allowed so much wealth to rob him of his love for serving God. Let's consider this example and act loyally to serve God out of love.

Serving God is wisdom, because God is the owner of gold and silver. God is the owner of the earth and its fullness. He who serves God serves the God of wealth.
