After Nicodemus' words in the Gospel of John, Jesus 3:7-15 said: "You must be born again. The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound from it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going; it is so with any born one from the Spirit." The answer of Christ made it clear:
Truly, I 'm telling you, we're talking about that which we know and we've seen; but you're not getting our testimony. How would you believe if I say something divine, if I have told you earthly things and you do not believe? No one has gone up to heaven except the Son of Man who came down from heaven. And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so the Sound of man must be raised up to give eternal life to those who believe in him.
