Dear brothers and sisters in Christ

The sixth commandment contained in the ten commandments of the law given by the Lord to Moses on Mount Horeb prompts us to comply with the "Do not kill" resolution.

This commandment tells me that I should not place in my heart the desire to kill a person or even kill him.

Today this commandment reminded me of society's selfishness with abortion practices in adolescent women which truncates life to creatures in the womb.

Jesus the son of God who was born of the Virgin Mary came to save us from our sins with his death on the Cross and calls us to conversion and we accept Him in our hearts.

Let us thank the Lord for the good of life that He has granted us and pray that the people who are attempting against the life of unborn children will abandon these practices and women who suffer abortion or have gone through that situation will be healed. I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ Our Lord.
