THE BEAUTY OF DWELLING IN THE HOUSE OF GOD

Psalms 84
¡How kind are your dwellings, O Lord of hosts!
2 My soul yearns for and yet ardently desires the courts of Jehovah;
My heart and my flesh sing to the living God.
3 Even the sparrow finds a home,
And the swallow nest for itself, where it puts its chicks,
Near your altars, O Jehovah of armies,
My King, and my God.
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
They will perpetually praise you. Selah
5 Blessed is the man who has his strength within you,
In whose heart are your ways.
6 Crossing the valley of tears they change it into a source,
When the rain fills the ponds...

All people when they spend time in a summer hugging yearn for the autumn rains to arrive or when they are thirsty or hungry they want to be satiated in short the man wants to be satiated with everything he wants

Likewise David the psalmist describes in this psalm the longing of his soul ardently expresses the company of God in the temple and declares how kind are your dwellings, Jehovah of armies!
Poetically the worshiper envies the swallow who has free access to the temple courtyard at any time

I love the humility that the psalmist reflects when he pronounces his need and thirst for God because the humble person who recognizes his need for continuous growth never assumes an arrogant attitude.

For this reason, by way of reflection, I want to tell you to turn your heart into a pilgrim, humble yourself and accept that you should never stop searching for knowledge and spiritual growth.

We must recognize our need for God to be able to live in this world, he is the one who offers us a new life full of the holy spirit and his word to be able to recognize our spiritual condition and live perpetually in his house and fill us with his strength.

God is the one who changes our condition and gives us his power to change sadness for joy and fear for peace
