Good day people of God.
Welcome to my daily devotional. This is my Introductory post

Our today's Bible reading is taken from 1 John 1:9 which says;

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Source

Why is the Bible telling us this even though we sin knowingly?
This is because, our living God has already called us His children, people made in His own image.
Why sinning against your creator oh sinner man?
Why creating barrier between you and your God?
God has seen how less we are and has sent His son to save us all. The son of God came and died so that all of us could be saved and yet, people still don't obey God's commandments
Do you love God?
If you do, obey His commandments as said in John 14:15.
Do you sin against God because you get no punishment at that spot?
Sin no more because the wages of sin is death. Read Romans 6:23.
Have you turned to the disobedience type because you heard someone telling you that there's no God?
Listen to those empty words no more. The Bible made us to know in Ephesians 5:6 that we should let no one deceive us with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
God is not a man that we should disobey today and it dies with whatever the judge says. The punishment is not rewriteable or appealable because you have sinned against the father.
Brethren, I beg you today to seek the face of God and ask Him for forgiveness. The Bible made us to know in 2 Chronicles 7:14 that if God's people (you and I) who are called by His name humble ourselves, and pray and seek His face and turn from our wicked ways, then He will hear from heaven and will forgive our sins and heal our lands.
May God help us all as we continue to do what pleases Him in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer

Our father in heaven, we have come to you today with our different sins, please have mercy upon us and forgive us our sins, we'll also consider forgiving those who have sinned against us oh Lord, thank you for this opportunity given to us, receive all our prayers one by one, this we pray in Jesus name, amen.
