La vida es un ciclo, cuando veo a Jeremías que desde hace rato ha comenzado a conquistar metas, hace poco represento al estado Lara en una competencia de voleibol y así una lista larga que a veces no le prestamos la atención debida.

Life is a cycle, when I see Jeremías that for a long time has begun to conquer goals, he recently represented the state of Lara in a volleyball competition and so a long list that sometimes we do not pay due attention.

El primero logro de todos es haber habido alcanzado el óvulo más rápido que los demás, y si observamos desde ahí se derivan una lista inmensa de experiencias y crecimiento que lo van moldeando a uno como la persona que somos en el presente.

The first achievement of all is to have reached the ovum faster than the others, and if we look from there we derive an immense list of experiences and growth that mold one as the person we are in the present.

Ahora mismo, mi hijo está en una etapa bastante especial en la parte académica, deja atrás el preescolar para encontrarse con la educación primaria que consta de 6 años que a veces parecen ser bastante largos, pero sabemos que es simplemente un abrir y cerrar de ojos.

Right now, my son is in a very special stage in the academic part, he is leaving preschool behind to find himself in primary education which consists of 6 years that sometimes seem to be quite long, but we know that it is just a blink of an eye.

Recuerdo que en el antiguo curriculum escolar solo tenías pasar por el llamado kínder y luego supuestamente ya debías estar preparado para afrontar la educación primaria luego de pasar de ser un bebe a un niño de edad escolar.

I remember that in the old school curriculum you only had to go through the so-called kindergarten and then you were supposed to be ready to face primary education after going from being a baby to a school-age child.

El actual curriculum estipula tres etapas tempranas, en donde el niño pasa por un ciclo de tres años determinados por niveles que van desde el uno al tres. Escribiendo esto, recordé que fue posible inscribirlo en actividades educativas denominadas maternales, que si corres con suerte les pueden enseñar algunas cosas cuando apenas son unos bebes que ni siquiera han cumplido el año de vida.

The current curriculum stipulates three early stages, where the child goes through a three-year cycle determined by levels from one to three. Writing this, I remembered that it was possible to enroll him in educational activities called maternity, which if you are lucky can teach them some things when they are just babies who have not even reached the age of one year.

Gracias a dios, Jere se ha sabido destacar en cada una de estas etapas en la que le ha tocado defenderse desde los once meses de edad cuando lo inscribimos en un "Simoncito" por mera necesidad, pues papa y mamá debían trabajar y en ese entonces debíamos gestionar bien el tiempo para que todos pudiésemos cumplir con las tareas.

Thank God, Jere has excelled in each of these stages in which he has had to defend himself since he was eleven months old when we enrolled him in a “Simoncito” by mere necessity, because mom and dad had to work and at that time we had to manage time well so that we could all fulfill the tasks.

Cuando reviso estos 6 años que recién cumplió mi hijo en abril, puedo darme cuanta que hemos tenido que sortear grandes momentos. Momentos que han servido de gran enseñanza de vida para este humilde servidor, consiente totalmente, que el combustible que hace frente a todos estos desafíos, definitivamente, es el amor.

When I review these 6 years that my son just turned 6 in April, I can realize that we have had to overcome great moments. Moments that have served as great life lessons for this humble servant, fully aware that the fuel that faces all these challenges is definitely love.

El sistema escolar Venezolano estipula una seria de graduaciones o niveles alcanzados en el transcurso de la época escolar, ahora mismo Jere debe ir a un acto de grado en donde las familias aprovechan para guardar recuerdos de este ciclo alcanzado. Un amigo se ofreció para hacernos unas fotos como regalo y pues la semana pasada nos reunimos debajo del obelisco para aprovechar el sitio, el ambiente y los colores que ofrece el monumento.

The Venezuelan school system stipulates a series of graduations or levels reached in the course of the school year, right now Jere must go to a graduation ceremony where families take the opportunity to keep memories of this cycle achieved. A friend offered to take some pictures as a gift and last week we met under the obelisk to take advantage of the place, the atmosphere and the colors offered by the monument.

También yo aproveché para dejar grabado este momento al lado de mi viejo amigo Edgar y mi compañero de vida, mi hijo Jeremías. Tome solo unas cuantas fotos. Casi todas me gustaron, el espacio que ahora mismo se ha mantenido bastante cuidado en la zona ayudo para que las tomas salieran buenas por sí solas. También aproveché de utilizar un par de efectos nuevos que he aprendido y que me tiene bastante feliz porque las imágenes dan un aspecto que siempre había querido utilizar, pero que no lo había aprendido a hacer.

Es un placer volver a conectar, nos vemos pronto.
