Por aquí quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia algo incomoda pero que al final todo fluyó de manera satisfactoria.
Mi marido (Vidal) trabaja de miércoles a domingo en un horario completo de 7am a 7pm, como vivimos en Guatire y el trabajo es lejos en Caracas, se levanta muy temprano para ir al terminal de pasajeros donde agarra el transporte hasta un sitio, y luego debe agarrar otro carro hasta su trabajo.
Les comento esto para que entiendan lo que les voy a contar más adelante.
Tenemos un solo carro, el cual se queda conmigo, pero desde hace ya varios meses ese carro está pidiendo mucho dinero, ya que se les ha dañado varios repuestos y cuando se le monta algo nuevo aparece otro daño, y así sucesivamente.

We have only one car, which stays with me, but for several months now that car has been asking for a lot of money, since several spare parts have been damaged and when something new is mounted, another damage appears, and so on.
Las reparaciones se hacen los lunes y martes q es cuando él está libre. Este lunes se llevó el carro al taller y Vidal pasó todo el día ahí pendiente de lo que se le estaba haciendo. Salieron varias cosas más que no estaban en el presupuesto, sin embargo él resolvió.
A finales de la tarde, por fin le dieron el carro listo, ese hombre llegó a casa “literalmente” destruido!!! Después de ir a la ducha darse un baño y comer, se acostó en el sofá de la sala y me comentó: “Amor estoy estresado y muy cansado, me gustaría ir mañana un rato a la playa, pero ya no tenemos dinero, quedamos en cero?

Me quedé un rato callada mientras pensaba la respuesta, le respondí: “vamos chico, yo preparo algo ligero para comer, además en la nevera tenemos 12 cervezas, con eso pasamos un rato y oxigenamos el cerebro”, jajajaja.
Se contentó mucho con mi respuesta y así quedamos.
Al día siguiente nos levantamos temprano, él bajó al estacionamiento a revisar el carro, bajar las sillas y la cava con las cervezas y agua mineral, mientras yo hacía unas arepas bien resueltas para desayunar antes de irnos…
Al mismo tiempo, mientras hacia las arepas, monté una olla pequeña con agua y sal e hice un poquito de pasta chiquita para preparar una ensalada fría.

A esa pastica de agregué zanahoria y cebollas ralladas, queso mozzarella picado en cuadritos, una lata de atún y una lata de maíz en granos dulce.
Aparte preparé un aderezo con mayonesa, mostaza, vinagre, un poquito de aceite y sal (me lo llevé en un frasco de vidrio).
Comenté: “Solo tenemos que comprar hielo y pan (eso no es muy costoso).
Nos bañamos, nos vestimos con nuestra ropa de playa para salir, estábamos bien contentos.
Cuando abrimos la puerta para irnos, tuvimos una gran sorpresa “se desató el gran palo de agua” Dios! No lo podíamos creer, si Vidal había bajado al carro y no se veía tiempo de lluvia para nada, casi me pongo a llorar, pero fui a mi cuarto busqué un paraguas y le dije a Vidal, vámonos!
Él sorprendido, largó la risa y continuó conmigo hasta el carro, era tanto el diluvio que llegamos al carro empapados a pesar de que teníamos el paraguas, saqué una de las toallas, nos secamos y nos fuimos.
Al rodar no más de 5 minutos, dejó de llover y toda la autopista vía a Higuerote estaba completamente seca.

When we opened the door to leave, we had a big surprise “the big stick of water was unleashed” God! We couldn't believe it, Vidal had gone down to the car and it didn't look like rainy weather at all, I almost started to cry, but I went to my room and got an umbrella and told Vidal, let's go!
He was surprised and laughed and continued with me to the car, it was soaking wet that we got to the car even though we had the umbrella, I took out one of the towels, we dried off and left.
After no more than 5 minutes, it stopped raining and the whole highway to Higuerote was completely dry.
Al llegar a nuestro destino compramos el pan y el hielo, nos estacionamos y bajamos las cosas del carro.
Arriving at our destination, we bought bread and ice, parked and unloaded our things from the car.
La ensalada quedó deliciosa.
The salad was delicious.
Nos bañamos un rato en el mar y agarramos en la arena enterrados una cantidad suficiente de “Guacucos” (molusco que vive enterrado en la arena de las playas), fuimos a una churuata cerca donde vendían comida y una señora muy amable nos vendió unos limones, así que pudimos degustar esos deliciosos “Guacucos” recién sacados del mar.
We bathed for a while in the sea and we caught a sufficient amount of “Guacucos” (mollusk that lives buried in the sand of the beaches), we went to a nearby churuata where they sold food and a very kind lady sold us some lemons, so we could taste those delicious “Guacucos” fresh from the sea.
No hubo nada de sol, tampoco nada de lluvia, pero como a las 4pm notamos algo muy extraño, el mar que estaba muy calmado, de repente (por muy corto tiempo) trajo una cantidad de aguas malas (medusa del mar con ocho brazos de forma similar a un coliflor) a la orilla y todas estaban muertas, el cielo comenzó a ponerse feo, así que decidimos recoger todo y regresar a casa.
There was no sun at all, no rain either, but at about 4pm we noticed something very strange, the sea that was very calm, suddenly (for a very short time) brought a lot of bad waters (sea jellyfish with eight arms similar to a cauliflower) to the shore and they were all dead, the sky started to get ugly, so we decided to pick up everything and go back home.
Pasamos unas horas muy agradables y felices los dos, conversando de todo lo que habíamos pasado con el carro, pero que gracias a Dios decidimos ir y desestresarnos un poco, no quedarnos en casa.
Al día siguiente nos enteramos en el noticiero que pasó en gran parte del país (Venezuela) una tormenta tropical llamada “Ernesto” con grandes precipitaciones causando daños a viviendas y muchos árboles caídos; pero gracias a Dios nosotros llegamos bien a casa.

The next day we heard on the news that a tropical storm called “Ernesto” passed over a large part of the country (Venezuela) with heavy rainfall causing damage to homes and many fallen trees, but thank God we arrived home safely.
