Regreso a esta comunidad con una iniciativa nueva sobre el día de la mujer, donde podemos honrar a esas mujeres de nuestra familia, estén presentes o ya no lo estén, pero que siempre tendremos en nuestro corazón. #hivewomensday

I return to this community with a new initiative on Women's Day, where we can honor those women in our family, whether they are present or no longer present, but that we will always have in our hearts.

Cuando pienso en honrar a una mujer de mi sistema familiar, pienso en todas y en cada una que hizo hasta lo imposible por luchar por lo que quería en su vida y lo que estaba dispuesta a lograr.

When I think of honoring a woman in my family system, I think of each and every one who went to great lengths to fight for what she wanted in her life and what she was willing to achieve.

Yo este post se lo dedico a mi abuela que fue una mujer luchadora, pero fue luchadora por padecer de una enfermedad que le quitaba fuerzas, ella que hizo todo lo posible por seguir adelante aun así las circunstancias de la vida se lo impidieran, pero ella siguió adelante, con todo, y nosotros como familia la reconocemos y la honramos por darnos en vida tantas enseñanzas.

I dedicate this post to my grandmother who was a fighter, but she was a fighter because she suffered from a disease that took away her strength, she did everything possible to move forward even though life circumstances prevented her from doing so, but she kept going, with everything, and we as a family recognize and honor her for giving us so many lessons in life.

De ella tenemos fotos, a veces salía sonriendo y otras no tanto, se entendía el por qué, y no la juzgábamos, siempre fuimos ese apoyo que necesitaba y ella fue el nuestro, y lo más importante es que en cada uno de los momentos que pasamos con ella, nos dejó una enseñanza inmensa.

We have pictures of her, sometimes she was smiling and sometimes not so much, we understood why, and we did not judge her, we were always that support she needed and she was ours, and the most important thing is that in each of the moments we spent with her, she left us an immense teaching.

Todos tenemos a quien honrar en nuestra familia, tenemos a nuestras tías, abuelas, madres y amigas.. A todas esas mujeres de nuestro sistema familiar que en sus tiempo lucharon y alzaron su voz para obtener sus derechos, para tener una mejor vida, para ellas y para sus sucesoras.

We all have someone to honor in our family, we have our aunts, grandmothers, mothers and friends.... To all those women in our family system who in their time fought and raised their voices to obtain their rights, to have a better life, for them and for their successors.

Las mujeres de mi familia son mujeres muy especiales para mí, son mujeres fuertes y con carácter, mujeres que nos damos a respetar, mujeres valientes y emprendedoras que cada día hacemos de la vida de nuestro clan y la nuestra un lugar mejor para convivir... De eso nos enseñó mi abuela en vida, a amarnos, respetarnos y cuidarnos entre todas como es debido.

The women in my family are very special women for me, they are strong women with character, women who give us respect, brave and enterprising women who every day make our clan's life and ours a better place to live.... That's what my grandmother taught us in life, to love, respect and take care of each other as we should.

La fecha del día de la mujer no es una fecha para celebrar, es una fecha para conmemorar y honrar a todas esas mujeres que fallecieron en el incendio y a manos de la policía en 1911. No celebro este dia, para mi esta fecha es un día para reflexionar sobre el avance que hemos logrado como mujeres, el avance en lo laboral y en lo personal, un día para no olvidar que la lucha debe seguir, un día para demostrarnos lo fuertes y capaces que somos sin importar el qué dirán.

The date of Women's Day is not a date to celebrate, it is a date to commemorate and honor all those women who died in the fire and at the hands of the police in 1857. I do not celebrate being a woman, for me this date is a day to reflect on the progress we have made as women, the progress in the workplace and personally, a day to not forget that the fight must go on, a day to show us how strong and capable we are no matter what they say.

Las mujeres tenemos muchas cosas buenas que portar a la sociedad, tenemos valores y conocimiento, tenemos la oportunidad de debatir opiniones siendo respetuosas, tenemos derechos, los cuales deben ser respetados.

Women have many good things to bring to society, we have values and knowledge, we have the opportunity to debate opinions while being respectful, we have rights, which must be respected.

Como dije en un principio, no es un día de celebración, no es un cumpleaños ni un día de fiesta, es un día para honrar a las mujeres trabajadoras, para honrar a nuestras antepasadas por su esfuerzo, por sus legados y la lucha que abrió puertas a nuestros derechos.

As I said in the beginning, it is not a day of celebration, it is not a birthday or a holiday, it is a day to honor working women, to honor our foremothers for their effort, for their legacies and the struggle that opened doors to our rights.
