Hola amigoos!! Espero que estén bien, yo aún aprovechando de los días de vacaciones que me quedan antes de empezar con mis deberes. Hoy estoy por aquí para contarles de un día super genial en el que compartí con mis amigos y compañeros del coro musical del que formo parte, un día bastante soleado en el que disfrutamos de una piscina y de carne a la parrilla.
Hello friends! I hope you are well, I'm still taking advantage of the vacation days I have left before starting my homework. Today I'm here to tell you about a super cool day I spent with my friends and colleagues from the musical choir I'm part of, a sunny day where we enjoyed a pool and grilled meat.
Los que me leen frecuentemente sabrán que formo parte de un coro juvenil y pues desde que me metí en el coro hemos estado extremadamente full de actividades por lo cual no hemos tenido tiempo de socializar mucho, conocernos mejor y descansar.
Antes de que mi hermana y yo nos metiéramos ya había un grupo consolidado y nosotros éramos nuevos, aunque ya a la mayoría los conocía porque veo clases de canto con ellos también. Luego de un mes bastante full la profesora decidió organizar una piscinada con el motivo de que pudiéramos compartir todos, conocernos más y hablar de otras cosas más allá de la música y el coro, además de que los representantes se pudieran conocer mejor y hablar sobre lo interesante que es tener hijos cantantes, pues, se habían visto en las presentaciones pero como tal no se conocían.
Those of you who read me frequently will know that I am part of a youth choir and since I joined the choir we have been extremely busy so we haven't had time to socialize much, get to know each other better and rest.
Before my sister and I joined there was already a consolidated group and we were new, although I already knew most of them because I take singing lessons with them as well. After a full month the teacher decided to organize a pool party so that we could all share, get to know each other better and talk about other things beyond music and the choir, besides the representatives could get to know each other better and talk about how interesting it is to have singing children, because they had seen each other in the presentations but as such they did not know each other.

Desde el día #1 que empezaron a organizar la reunión yo estaba muy emocionado, contando los días que faltaban para el gran día de piscina. Y cuando llegó el día mi hermana y yo nos paramos desde temprano para alistarnos, nuestros padres no pudieron acompañarnos así que solo nos fueron a dejar, pero antes pasamos comprando algunas cosas para compartir.
Al llegar allá nos dimos cuenta de que fuimos prácticamente los primeros en llegar jajajajaja, y eso que nos pautaron a las 11 y llegamos casi a las 12. Solo estaban la profesora, la hija de la profesora y un par de personas que estaban ayudando a la profesora con la organización. Y menos mal que mi hermana fue conmigo, si no me hubiera sentido muy solo.
Since day #1 when they started organizing the reunion I was very excited, counting the days until the big pool day. And when the day arrived my sister and I got up early to get ready, our parents couldn't come with us so they just went to drop us off, but before we did we went shopping for some things to share.
When we got there we realized that we were practically the first to arrive hahahahaha, and that we were scheduled at 11 and we arrived almost at 12. There were only the teacher, the teacher's daughter and a couple of people who were helping the teacher with the organization. And thank goodness my sister went with me, otherwise I would have felt very lonely.
Poco a poco fueron llegando mis demás compañeros pero todavía no teníamos permiso de bañarnos en la piscina por lo cual estábamos hablando y compartiendo algunos dulces y bebidas. Cuando ya estábamos una cantidad considerable de personas, la profe por fin nos dio permiso de bañarnos y fue cuando todos nos metimos a la piscina y nos refrescamos con el agua fría. Me sorprendió que la piscina estaba más llena de lo que pensaba, pero fue una sorpresa agradable porque me gustó.
La tarde fue bastante agradable, pudimos darnos el tiempo de conversar, de conocernos más, de bailar y disfrutar todos juntos, también hubieron distintas dinámicas muy divertidas, entre ellas unas rifas para los más pequeños y también para los grandes y también un karaoke, solo que en vez de cantar nosotros los cantantes, cantaron los representantes, lo cual fue muy gracioso y además tuvieron premios.
Little by little my other classmates were arriving but we still did not have permission to swim in the pool so we were talking and sharing some candy and drinks. When we were already a considerable amount of people, the teacher finally gave us permission to swim and that's when we all got into the pool and cooled off with the cold water. I was surprised that the pool was more crowded than I thought, but it was a pleasant surprise because I liked it.
The afternoon was quite pleasant, we had time to talk, to get to know each other better, to dance and enjoy together, there were also different fun activities, among them raffles for the little ones and also for the adults and also a karaoke, only that instead of us singing, the representatives sang, which was very funny and they also had prizes.

De almuerzo comimos carne y pollo a la parrilla con ensalada y yuca, estaba muy sabroso. Pasamos la mayor parte de la tarde aprovechando la piscina, algo que me pareció demasiado gracioso es que justamente fuimos a la piscina para pasar un día distinto, alejado de los ensayos y de nuestro repertorio como coro, pero al final estando en la piscina se nos ocurrió la idea de cantar como coro, lo cual fue muy divertido, ni nosotros mismos entendimos pero bueno jajajajajaja, solo queda reírse.
Nos merecíamos ese descanso, reunirnos en otro sentido que no sea de ensayo y de aprender, es algo que era necesario para todos, tanto para nosotros los estudiantes como para los profesores y me encantó que justo haya sido una piscina, pues soy fan de bañarme en piscina y más si es con mis amigos, estuvimos allí desde las 12 como hasta las 5, pero el tiempo pasó muy rápido para mi, pues la pase realmente bien y no hubo ni un solo momento en el que me sintiera aburrido.
For lunch we had grilled meat and chicken with salad and yucca, it was very tasty. We spent most of the afternoon taking advantage of the pool, something that I found too funny is that we just went to the pool to spend a different day, away from the rehearsals and our repertoire as a choir, but at the end being in the pool we came up with the idea of singing as a choir, which was very funny, not even we ourselves understood but well hahahahahahaha, just laugh.
We deserved that break, to meet in another sense than rehearsal and learning, is something that was necessary for everyone, both for us students and teachers and I loved that it was just a pool, because I'm a fan of swimming in a pool and more if it is with my friends, we were there from 12 until 5, but the time passed very quickly for me, because I had a really good time and there was not a single moment when I felt bored.

Ya estoy ansioso de empezar nuevamente con mis clases y ensayos del coro, estoy seguro de que este año será grandioso en ese aspecto, se que el coro seguirá mejorando y yo como cantante también, por ahora seguiré disfrutando de mis vacaciones. I am already anxious to start again with my choir classes and rehearsals, I am sure that this year will be great in that aspect, I know that the choir will continue to improve and me as a singer too, for now I will continue to enjoy my vacations.
