In spite of the rain...

...today I had to go for a run yes or yes...and the truth is that it hasn't been that bad, a light rain while running is nothing I can complain about, in truth, it's quite the opposite.
I love running when it rains, if you do it moderately, of course... as long as you let me see where you're stepping because, as you can see in the photo below, the path along the coastline was like a swimming pool (LOL).

The advantages of this type of climate are many, the body stops spending energy to cool itself, it is not necessary when the environment is cool and humid, the amount of oxygen is also greater and, in addition, the quality of the air also improves since what the rain does is to dilute the pollutant molecules existing in the atmosphere of large cities.
As a result of this, you notice that your performance is much better, even though your training has been mediocre, which is my case these last few days, you feel like you could run longer and faster for much time.
As an experienced runner that I am, I am aware that I am not at the best of my moments so, although my legs asked for more effort, I have held back as much as possible, although, to tell the truth, at the end of my 8km run in progression, I wanted to push the accelerator a bit and do half a km below 4'/km, just to let off some steam from my legs. It went really well.
Then, included in the training time I added 5 more minutes of cool-down jog and stretching, all done in less than 46 minutes... not bad at all.

Later I will post my @strava2hive activity with more details about it.

Keep on running...even if it rains :-)!
