Entonces decidí aprovechar un teclado viejo de Tablet Canaima y volverlo un poco mas compacto y eso es lo que te voy a mostrar hoy. Todo esto mientras te cuento mi opinión sobre los teclados de computadora, asi que no esperes un gran paso a paso, como dije al inicio, te voy a echar un cuento..

So I decided to take advantage of an old Canaima Tablet keyboard and make it a little more compact and that is what I am going to show you today. All this while I tell you my opinion about computer keyboards, so don't expect a big step by step, as I said at the beginning, I'm going to tell you a story...
Para el que no lo sepa, un teclado de Tablet Canaima es esto. Es básicamente un forro de tablet con un teclado incorporado, estos venian junto con una tablet que en su momento el gobierno regalaba a los estudiantes universitarios, aunque ya paso a mejor vida, no eran de muy buena calidad a decir verdad y la tecnología avanzó tan rápido que rápidamente quedaron solo en el recuerdo.
Lo que sí es de una calidad aceptable es el teclado. Si, es un teclado de membrana y no suena tan genial como un teclado mecánico, aunque funciona bastante bien y siempre y cuando se encuentre apoyado en una base relativamente solida, puede durar bastante y es que un teclado no tiene mucho mas realmente, ya lo veremos y lo explicaré mas adelante ☺️

Ya el forro se estaba rompiendo, asi que fue muy facil despegar las partes. Simplemente corté las costuras con una cuchilla y fuí tirando de a poco, en algunos lados ni siquiera había costuras de verdad, simplemente estaba pegado.
Como pueden ver en la imágen donde la pieza está abierta, un teclado no posee grandes piezas, simplemente es una controladora por llamarla de alguna manera, que es una placa de circuitos donde existen muchos pines o contactos y cada uno de ellos pertenece a una letra o símbolo. Esa es la manera simple de explicarlo, porque si los cuentas, hay menos pines que teclas, ésto es porque algunas teclas activan 2 o 3 pines de manera simultánea y eso ocasiona un resultado diferente. Fácil de entender, difícil de explicar 😂

That's the simple way to explain it, because if you count them, there are less pins than keys, this is because some keys activate 2 or 3 pins simultaneously and that causes a different result. El segundo componente sería el teclado en si. Y como mencioné anteriormente, éste en particular es de membrana y es tipo cápsula. Dejen les explico rápidamente, espero logren entenderme, deben usar un poco la imaginación.. (O buscar fotos en Google 😂)
Que un teclado sea de membrana, quiere decir que posee 3 laminas plásticas muy finas. Una de ellas posee pistas de cobre por donde pasará la electricidad, la siguiente sirve de separador y no su única características es que posee agujeros en la ubicación de cada tecla, luego está una tercera capa plástica también con pistas de cobre y esta es la que se encarga de cerrar el circuito, es decir, cuando presionamos una tecla las pistas inferior y superior se tocan pasando por el agujero que hay en la capa central ☺️

Creo que hasta ahí se va entendiendo la idea, estos teclados suelen ser mas económicos debido a que es mucho mas facil y economicos de producir. Y por ultimo, encapsulado quiere decir que viene todo sellado dentro de una lamina generalmente de acero inoxidable o aluminio, que aporta una base solida dónde pueda apoyarse la membrana sin que entre la suciedad. Suelen utilizarse generalmente en Laptos, ya que tambien esa lamina metálica en la parte inferior hace la función de disipador y aislante termico ☺️

El otro tipo de teclado que existe y se ha vuelto muy popular en los últimos años, es el famoso teclado mecánico. Los componentes principales siguen siendo iguales, la unica diferencia es que en vez de una membrana, posee pulsadores individuales para cada tecla y generalmente estos pulsadores están soldados a una placa electrónica, que está entre hecha principalmente de fibra de vidrio, lo que brinda mas rigidez. Las teclas tiene incluso pequeño resortes que la devuelven al soltarla y eso hace ese sonido tan característico, parecido a una máquina de escribir.. Son geniales la verdad ☺️

Así que, no te dejes engañar por el marketing, ve a una tienda de artículos usados y compra un teclado mecánico de una computadora antigua, te costará 2$ USD y tendrá ese sonido característico, que amas la primera semana y luego hasta tus vecinos querrán matarte 😂
