EU has a point, I think life will be a little better if all devices had the same chargers. But if we are being realistic, if all our devices used the same chargers we'll still have more than one of those cuz we need efficient charging and we can't wait to charge everything separately as it's more time consuming.
Take for instance in Nigeria, our power supply isn't always stable so whenever there's electricity we have to charge everything cuz you dont know if you'll get the chance to do that the next minute.
Apple has a point too, most people already use the lightening chargers. I think if they upgrade their devices to use the type C people will want to buy those upgrades because most people want their devices to be up to date. This alone will make people spend more money I think so that kinda defeats EU's plan of helping us save money.
