Geek Zone, Your Technological Place
With each passing day, we become involved with technology in some way. With giant steps, technology is becoming more and more a part of our lives. From equipment that monitors our sleep, to those invisible waves that connect us virtually with the world, to the timer on a microwave where you heat up your food, technology is in almost everything we do.
Thinking about that, a couple of engineers (@gorayii and @josecarrerag) addicted to technology, realized that there is a need for a space in Hive where we can share any kind of technological content, exposing our Geek side.
No matter how advanced the technological world is, each one of us moves at a different technological pace. One thing we're sure of is that keeping up with technological news can be overwhelming. Thus, we go at our own pace, delving into this fascinating world, learning, buying and testing technology at different scales.
When you are passionate about technology, you live it; you spend hours and hours delighting yourself with new trends, new releases; you become addicted to consuming current technological content, always trying to stay ahead. For this reason, we are excited to introduce a new community: Geek Zone
You are a geek when you lose the notion of time concentrating on configuring a new device and getting the most out of it, or when you opt for a new smartphone and want to discover all its features and benefits. You know you're a technology lover when you become that person everyone turns to when they want to buy a gadget or technological device: a computer, TV, smartwatch, video game console, or even a home appliance that involves technological innovation beyond computing.

What can we publish in this community?
- Unboxing and reviews of any technological device and/or gadget.
- Assembly, maintenance and/or configuration of equipment (computers, networks, telecommunications, video games, etc.).

Geek Zone, tu espacio tecnológico
Cada día que pasa, de alguna forma nos veamos involucrados con la tecnología. A pasos gigantes, la tecnología cada vez más forma parte de nuestra vida. Desde equipos que monitorean nuestro sueño, esas ondas invisibles que nos conectan virtualmente con el mundo, hasta el temporizador de un microondas donde calientas la comida, la tecnología cada está en casi todo lo que hacemos.
Pensando en eso, un par de ingenieros (@gorayii y @josecarrerag) adictos a la tecnología, se dieron cuenta que es necesario un espacio en Hive donde podamos compartir cualquier tipo de contenido tecnológico, dejando al descubierto, nuestro lado Geek.
No importa que tan avanzado este el mundo tecnológico, cada uno de nosotros se mueve a un ritmo tecnológico diferente. Si de algo estamos seguros es que, seguirle el ritmo a la actualidad tecnológica, puede ser abrumador. Por eso, vamos a nuestro ritmo, adentrándonos en este fascinante mundo, aprendiendo, comprando y probando la tecnología a escalas diferentes.
Cuando te apasiona la tecnología, la vives, dedicas horas y horas deleitándote con las nuevas tendencias, los nuevos lanzamientos, te vuelves un adicto en consumir contenido de actualidad tecnológica, procurando siempre mantenerte a la vanguardia. Es por eso que, nos emociona presentar una nueva comunidad: Geek Zone
Eres un geek cuando pierdes la noción del tiempo concentrado en configurar un nuevo dispositivo y sacarle el máximo provecho, cuando te decantas por un smartphone nuevo y quieres descubrir todas sus funciones y bondades. Sabes que eres un amante de la tecnología cuando te conviertes en esa persona de referencia a la que todos acuden cuando quieren comprar algún aparato o dispositivo tecnológico: un computador, televisor, smartwatch, consola de videojuegos o hasta algún electrodoméstico que involucre la innovación tecnológica más allá de la informática.
