A few days ago I told you that I had bought several things to update my setup, an update for the better.
As such I have not shown you the setup, just the things I have bought and as you can see on the cover of the post, I bought a new laptop to include it in my updated setup.
Hace unos cuántos días les comenté que había comprado varias cosas para actualizar mi setup, una actualización para bien.
Como tal no les he mostrado el setup, solo las cosas que he comprado y tal como lo ven en la portada de la publicación, compré una laptop nueva para incluirla en mi setup actualizado.
I must make a clarification, the laptop is new to me, but technically it is not new as such. It does have little use, because a friend came from overseas and brought several computers with him. He planned to keep this laptop, but he spent the money with which he would leave the country again so he had to sell some things.
Looking at the prices of the equipment on the internet, I realized what a good price he was selling it for.
Debo hacer una aclaratoria, la laptop es nueva para mi, pero técnicamente no es nueva como tal. Sí tiene poco uso, porque un amigo vino del exterior y trajo consigo varios equipos. Planeaba quedarse con esta laptop, pero gastó el dinero con el que volvería a irse del país así que tuvo que vender algunas cosas.
Viendo los precios del equipo por internet, me di cuenta del buen precio al que la estaba vendiendo.
It is an HP laptop, practically new, with everything in good condition and with very good performance.
To buy it I had to sell mine, the one I had. I sold it at a good price and I only had to take 20$ out of my pocket to complete to buy this one. In total, $260. In my friend's words, he gave it to me for free and that's true.
That's the good thing about taking advantage of offers from those friends who are in a hurry to leave the country.
Es una laptop HP, prácticamente nueva, con todo en buenas condiciones y con muy buen rendimiento.
Para comprarla tuve que vender la mía, la que tenía. La vendí a buen precio y solo tuve que sacar 20$ de mi bolsillo para completar para comprar esta. En total, 260$. En palabras de mi amigo, me la dejó regalada y eso es verdad.
Es lo bueno de aprovechar la ofertas de esos amigos que están apurados por irse del país.
As you can see it's a pretty big device, with an impeccable design and one that is very pleasing to the eye. The truth is that I fell in love with the design and I loved it because it is bigger and lighter than mine. Besides the battery lasts much longer...
Como pueden ver es un equipo bastante grande, con un diseño impecable y uno muy agradable a la vista. La verdad que me enamoró el diseño y me encantó porque es más grande y liviana que la mía. Además de que la batería dura mucho más...
As for features, I can mention the following:
- It is an HP Model 15-dw3500la.
- It has an Intel Core i3 processor
- 8 GB of Ram memory
- 237 GB of solid disk memory
En cuanto a características, les puedo mencionar lo siguiente:
- Es una HP Modelo 15-dw3500la
- Tiene un procesador Intel Core i3
- 8 GB de memoria Ram
- 237 GB de memoria en disco sólido
I feel like I am in love with this laptop. My friend told me that he had problems to sell it, because of the color, because not many people in Venezuela like the red color and that's why he had to lower the price.
I have no problem with the color of the laptop, I am interested in the performance that this one has and the truth is that at that price I did not waste the opportunity.
Siento que estoy enamorado de esta laptop. Mi amigo me dijo que había tenido problemas para venderla, por el color, pues no a muchas personas de Venezuela les gusta el color rojo y por eso tuvo que bajarle el precio.
Yo no tengo problemas con el color de la laptop, a mi me interesa el rendimiento que esta tiene y la verdad que a ese precio no desperdicié la oportunidad.

The screen is simply gorgeous. I feel that it is much more pleasing to the eye than other laptops, because it emits a sharper image and it is more enjoyable to watch movies, design images and other visual tasks.
For example, it will be very useful for me to make designs because I will be able to see them more clearly.
La pantalla es simplemente bellísima. Siento que es mucho más agradable a la vista que las otras laptops, porque emite una imagen más nítida y se disfruta más el ver películas, diseñar imágenes y otras tareas visuales.
Por ejemplo, para hacer diseños me va a ser de gran utilidad porque podré verlos con mayor nitidez.
It also has all its ports on the sides, even has different types of USB ports and an HDMI, something that is appreciated because it allows variety when connecting different types of devices to the laptop.
I didn't see a VGA port, but many video beams these days have HDMI cables.
También tiene todos sus puertos a los lados, incluso tiene distintos tipos de puertos USB y un HDMI, algo que se agradece pues permite variedad a la hora de conectar distintos tipos de dispositivos a la laptop.
No le vi puerto VGA, pero muchos video beam en estos tiempos traen cable HDMI.

Although it did not come in its original box, it did have all its original parts, which includes the original HP charger, the one that comes with the laptop.
In this regard I must say that it charges very fast and the battery lasts quite long. I have done some tests and with the laptop at 70%, the charge lasts 3 to 4 hours.
Aunque no venía en su caja original, sí tenía todas sus piezas originales, lo cual incluye el cargador original de HP, el propio que trae la laptop de paquete.
A este respecto debo decir que carga muy rápido y la batería le dura bastante. He hecho algunas pruebas y con la laptop en un 70%, la carga dura de 3 a 4 horas.

As you can see, this is a great piece of equipment that I bought and I wanted to share with you my joy of having this new piece of equipment. In fact, buying this laptop was what motivated me to update my setup and make this series of posts where I will be showing you all the things I have bought.
Como ven, es un gran equipo el que compré y quería compartir con ustedes mi alegría por tener este nuevo equipo. De hecho, comprar esta laptop fue lo que me motivó a actualizar mi setup y hacer esta serie de publicaciones en donde estaré mostrándoles todas las cosas que he comprado.
