Hace un tiempo les subí un post que estructure como guía con tips para hacer compras inteligentes de nuestros teléfonos, en esta oportunidad voy a compartir con ustedes consejos para adquirir una buena computadora, para los que no saben, en octubre del año pasado adquirí con mi ahorros una Laptop Acer, pase por muchas cosas para poder comprarle y sinceramente fue una experiencia agridulce, porque la verdad, fue una alegría poder llegar a la meta, pero por otro lado pase por muchos obstáculos, así que hoy quiero decirles que hacer para que no pasen por lo mismo que yo.
Some time ago I uploaded a post that I structured as a guide with tips to make smart purchases of our phones, this time I will share with you tips to buy a good computer, for those who do not know, in October last year I acquired with my savings an Acer Laptop, I went through many things to buy it and honestly it was a bittersweet experience, because the truth, it was a joy to reach the goal, but on the other hand I went through many obstacles, so today I want to tell you what to do so you do not go through the same thing I did.
1| Identifica tus necesidades

Este siempre es el consejo que les doy a las personas, para adquirir cualquier producto, porque estamos claros de que a veces queremos adquirir cosas, por el simple hecho de que es bonito y ya, pero realmente tenemos que preguntarnos si lo necesitamos y que tanto lo vamos a usar para que no malgastemos el dinero... Así que tienes que identificar que función le vas a dar al producto que compres, en el caso de una computadora, si queremos usarla para jugar o por el contrario solo para hacer pequeñas tareas.
Les comparto mi decisión, yo identifique, que necesitaba un equipo que me permitiera poder escribir, montar y diseñar post para Hive, que además me pudiera servir para las tareas básicas de la uni, así que básicamente mis tareas son normales, y en base a ello comencé a buscar equipos.
This is always the advice I give to people, to buy any product, because we are clear that sometimes we want to buy things, just because it is nice and already, but we really have to ask ourselves if we need it and how much we are going to use it so we do not waste money ... So you have to identify what function you are going to give to the product you buy, in the case of a computer, if we want to use it to play or on the contrary just to do small tasks.
I identified that I needed a computer that would allow me to write, assemble and design posts for Hive, which could also serve me for the basic tasks of the uni, so basically my tasks are normal, and based on that I started looking for computers.
2| Presta atención al procesador

Muchas veces nos concentramos en la marca, el diseño o el color, cuando realmente hay que prestarle atención a uno de los componentes más importantes: el procesador; muchas computadora pueden tener mucho espacio y ser lindas, pero delatan sus años cuando vemos el procesador. Este tip va ayudar mucho a las personas que están en Venezuela, porque me pasaba que me querían vender un equipo con procesador muy viejo a precios super elevados, entonces siempre pregunten por el procesador e investiguen.
Many times we focus on the brand, design or color, when we really have to pay attention to one of the most important components: the processor; many computers may have a lot of space and be nice, but they give away their years when we see the processor. This tip will help a lot to people who are in Venezuela, because it happened to me that they wanted to sell me a computer with a very old processor at super high prices, so always ask for the processor and investigate.
3| No te enamores demasiado

A veces nos pasa, sobretodo con las computadoras, hay diseños que son tan delicados que nos deslumbran y a la primera vista ya queremos comprarla y realmente esto no es lo indicado, debido a que las computadoras suelen ser equipos muy costos y no podemos comprar algo así simplemente porque nos pareció bonito, lo ideal es tener varias opciones y compararlas entre ellas.
Sometimes it happens to us, especially with computers, there are designs that are so delicate that dazzle us and at first sight we want to buy it and this is not really the right thing to do, because computers are usually very expensive equipment and we can not buy something like that just because we thought it looked nice, the ideal is to have several options and compare them with each other.
4| Define si necesitas una laptop o una computadora de escritorio

Esto es muy importante, porque dependiendo de tu respuesta puedes planificar el precio y armar un plan de compra, en mi caso, siempre supe que quería una laptop porque me parecía mucho más cómodo y además pensando en la universidad, quería algo que pudiera llevar en caso de que fuera necesario, así que siempre estuve clara que sería una laptop y por ello, comencé a buscar diferentes ofertas y tuve mucho trabajo de investigación.
This is very important, because depending on your answer you can plan the price and put together a purchase plan, in my case, I always knew I wanted a laptop because it seemed much more comfortable and also thinking about college, I wanted something I could carry in case it was necessary, so I was always clear that it would be a laptop and therefore, I started looking for different offers and I had a lot of research work.
5| Identifica un lugar con garantía

Por experiencia, al menos, aquí en Venezuela es difícil identificar un lugar donde ofrezcan garantía, aunque siento que actualmente, las tiendas están comenzando a ofrecer garantía, pero es muy importante que donde compren, les ofrezcan garantía porque aunque hay que ser positivos, la verdad siempre hay riesgo de defectos de fábrica y es bueno saber que te pueden respaldar.
From experience, at least here in Venezuela it is difficult to identify a place where they offer warranty, although I feel that currently, stores are beginning to offer warranty, but it is very important that where you buy, they offer warranty because although you have to be positive, the truth is that there is always a risk of factory defects and it is good to know that they can back you up.
6| De ser posible, compra nuevo

Sé que comprar algunas cosas usadas esta bien, pero al menos, en este aspecto aconsejaría que se haga el esfuerzo de comprar un equipo completamente nuevo, esto debido a que las computadoras son equipos a los que a veces no se les puede ver una falla, si no hasta horas después de encendidas o suelen adoptar algunas fallas con el uso, entonces las personas que las venden quieren colocar un precio casi igual que el de un equipo nuevo. Ahora, si definitivamente el presupuesto no alcanza, deben fijarse en como funciona la computadora y también hay que buscar muy bien para conseguir buenas ofertas.
I know that buying some things used is fine, but at least, in this aspect I would advise you to make the effort to buy a brand new computer, this because computers are computers that sometimes you can not see a fault, if not until hours after turned on or often take some faults with use, then the people who sell them want to place a price almost equal to that of a new computer. Now, if the budget is definitely not enough, you should look at how the computer works and you also have to search very well to get good deals.
