Glad to have caught @nelinoeva's Show Me A Photo challenge round 154.
This week is free-themed thus my entry is the photo below; a hen and her chicks.
These chicks are just days old and had just gone down from the nest. After weeks of sitting down its eggs, the mother hen who had not eaten for a few days thinned out and lost its shine. Such sacrifice is popular to mothers be ut animals or human.
The photo above were taken on my friendshouse during avisit one fine weekend. The hen is trying to loknfor food to feed her little onesa as well as teaching and preparing them for life.

Unlike humans, the hen cuts ties with their chicks months after hatching, they end up forgetting each other. The chicks were taught about finding food and avoiding danger though out the time they were together.
