Show Me A Photo Contest Round 79: Two Different Birds

It's so usual... two birds different in one photo!

What was that saying again? "Birds of the same feathers flock together" or something like that anyway.

For me especially, πŸ€ͺπŸ˜›πŸ˜ hahaha. Birds scamper and fly away when they see me!

So to encounter birds of different kinds...together so that I can take a photo of them... it is one in a million!

These are the birds that I took a photo of:

Source: Birds of Oahu

Zebra Dove

Family: Columbidae

Scientific Name: Geopelia striata

Red-crested Cardinal

Family: Thraupidae

Scientific Name: Paroaria coronata

They were separate at first.

The Red-created Cardinal stood there just as if it was saying: "Take my photo! You've been wanting a photo of a bird, don't you? Well, this is your chance!"

Then along comes the Zebra Dove... hurrying! As if to say: "Hey, wait for me. I want to be in the photo too!"

So, I took the photo!

This is my entry to #SMaP

Ha!!! Two Different Birds!

I took these photos in Waimea Valley in North Shore Oahu, Hawaii.

I don't know if and when I would have the opportunity again to take a photo of birds. And to take photos of birds that are related to the week's theme of Feathered Friends. I am guessing that it will be a while.

Wish me luck though. I don't give up so easily.
